I've been doing Slumber Parties since November and absolutely love it (You can book a party through Slumber Parties by Kelly until February 4th or 5th, then we may have somebody else getting p.com membership!). Part of our team design is that we set party, monthly, quarterly, or yearly goals as well as 'Spoil Me' goals. My 'Spoil Me' treat this month was new ink...I not only reached my party goal, but I more than cleared my monthly goal. SO, I went yesterday morning and had new ink done - I wanted to share it with my p.com family since you've all seen my tattoo collection slowly grow over the

Yardsale--don't forget about Tender Loving Pet Grooming's....

Do you have more pictures or a style number for the wedding dress? Also, how much is it? Thanks! -
....because being gay has anything to do with HIV/AIDS? I understand being cautious - not to an extreme, but aware of your surroundings is always a good thing. But what on earth does being gay have to do with HIV/AIDS? Completely irrelevant. I'm not a Christian, but I still don't sweat the details. HIV/AIDS is everywhere...being cautious or extra alert in a restaurant with gay waiters or in a country with a high HIV population makes little sense when there are 18,000 people right here in Georgia with AIDS and just as many with HIV. If you're going to be scared of it and b

Little one's dad brought her home after the snow had melted, but she had fun kicking icicles off of our cars and getting in a slush war with her dad anyway...so I snapped some pics. Discovering the ice cicles The fiance's car after a night in N. Georgia. I said 'Look at the camera and smile!' Laughing at her daddy Finally smiling. ♥ Good pic of her daddy. The wind picked up...so we went back inside.

Every single one of the women's bathroom stalls in the Visual Arts building at KSU have this taped to the back of the door.

They closed campus today, so I'm at home and the little one is safe at her dad's (I think...I hope...he won't answer the phone). The other half is officially off shift in Gilmer/Pickens County and is headed this way - I'm worried sick. ~sigh~

Unless you're a single woman holding out for love instead of using men to take care of...uh....your life span. Great grief. -

Yes, yes you can. -
I know the Discovery Point on EP Drive doesn't close with the school system, only their Ga Pre-K follows the school system. I'm still half-expecting to call in the morning and find it closed anyway. They stayed open during the floods, so ya never know.

I agree - my fiance is a paramedic and firefighter and is out in this mess in North Georgia. I can handle him running into fires or dealing with sick people, but crazy drivers on ice and mother nature scare me.

Little one's first 'real' hair cut.
lilgallowsmama replied to lilgallowsmama's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, mine is naturally crazy curly, and I straighten it. I'm happy she picked a decent length, although I *hate* shoulder length hair on myself. It has to be shorter or longer - on the shoulders drives me nuts. I know. She already looked way older than five because of her size, now you add the cut and I'm doomed. -
Paramedics do make the call...it's really life or death, or severe trauma. I know where the other half works, the local hospital is sort of a band-aid station. They can handle alot, but nothing really serious, so they fly out a good bit. If there's a long wait for a bird, though, they'll load 'em up and take them to Erlanger. That would be correct. Yup. I personally know of a lady that took a bird for a broken foot. However, it was a nasty break and she could have lost her foot. It happens. The problem is alot of folks hear 'break' and miss the 'could have lost

Thanks! She picked the length herself. After months of 'up to here!' while holding her hand up to her chin, she finally decided she wanted her hair 'like mommy's hair'. I just made her point to how short she wanted it, and she pointed to right below her shoulder. Her hair is naturally VERY curly (it's been blown out in the picture), so I'm glad she didn't go shorter or it'd wind up *really* short on days we just wash and go. -
I've been to a party every NYE since I turned 18...this year I'm keeping the little one up to watch the peach drop while drinking sparkling grape juice in princess cups and playing Jenga. For some reason, I think I'm more excited about this than any other NYE celebration I've been involved with.

We're sending it in to donate. I haven't gone yet, but it's on my list. -
So, Little one has been throwing a fit since the first weekend in October to cut her hair. It started with her going 'I'm done! I want it to here!!!' and putting her hands to her chin all fed-up. Apparently, she hates our 25-45 minute morning AND afternoon brushing fights as much as I do. I love her long hippie hair, though, and kept putting it off. This morning we had the fight of the century, so I called Brittany at Bloom Salon and had her sitting in a chair in less than 30 minutes. We had to go a few years ago and have her hair evened out, while she kicked and screamed, after she took scis

2 days until Christmas are you finished yet?
lilgallowsmama replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Nope, I forgot about a few little ones, but that shouldn't be a problem. I have a portrait to finish, but I'm finishing that when the little one goes to bed tonight. I can pick them up when I go get paint mixed for the little one's room. She's going to wake up Christmas morning and see that Santa painted her room blue. She's been begging for it since the first time she saw her 'darn pink wall'. I swear, this kid hates pink. -
I would say in a profession where sanitation is an issue, like the medical field, then yes. Anything else, as long as it's neatly groomed, I don't see a problem with it. Dxh has a beard and it looks great when it's neatly trimmed. Now he has the neatly trimmed sides and stache...all the way to the chin, where it's about four inches long and constantly being twisted. Always looks like upside down devil horns.
