  1. I'm so excited you're finally getting it done! And it's a beautimus tattoo. I've been debating something similar.
  2. That makes sense to me. When I'm designing a tattoo, it's a personal thing. I'm an artist; I like art; I think tattoos are another art form. When it comes time to actually get the tattoo, my adrenaline gets going like crazy. I'm one of those crazies that loves the feeling of getting a tattoo. When I was pregnant, I absolutely craved it (probably because you're not supposed to get a tattoo while you're pregnant), so I had a friend of mine tattoo me without any ink. Because I have so many freckles, you can really only see it when I'm in hot water (kind of like how stretch marks show more in a ho
  3. I never had a tv in my room, but my brother did. He played video games and watched tv, I read all day. He had a low B and C average, I was a straight A student. Not saying that goes for everybody, but it's always been enough to make me second guess television. My other two siblings had televisions/video games in their rooms and were also C average students. I, to this day, hate television. I'd rather be active or reading. The little one has one because it was given to us - my brother upgraded and had one to spare. We recently discovered that she can pick up a few channels, but unless she's
  4. No problem! I worked there for a few years and still go in several times a month.
  5. Barnes and Noble. When you first walk in go to the left towards the wall - there's a giant bookcase in the middle with journals to the left of that book case...the address books, family record keeping books, and recipe books are to the right.
  6. And I want o wish my Slumber mom, AJ, very Merry Christmas and an even merrier New Year! (Or New Year's Eve!) I second this one, also.
  7. I did the same thing to the other half. We agreed not to get each other anything and I didn't listen. I spent >thismuch< money, but they're 'meaningful' gifts and some took time/dedication to make. He still doesn't know, but he's not going to be a happy camper.
  8. Could I turn around and sell it all, buy a smaller house and invest in a college fund for the kiddo? Really though, I wouldn't do it. 1) I don't need any of it. 2) I don't want my child stuck with anything after I'm gone, much less that much debt or that much invested in something she might not want at all. The last thing I want is for my child to be tied down because of some desire I had for 'things'. If it could be used as a financial investment to sell and benefit her later, then absolutely. By the way, I'm only 24, so I guess my vote doesn't really count.
  9. I wore my skirt to my family party yesterday. Everybody got a big kick out of it.
  10. I cant agree with the too fit and pretty to take up beer, but I definitely am too young to have already taken it up and then given it up. I loooooved my Killians.
  11. Blech. I hate beer unless it's dark beer. I do believe I might make myself some hot chocolate, though.
  12. That seems to be what I'm doing, too. With paint.NET open calling for me.
  13. I want a chocolate chip pie. Hmm...I have one that drives but doesn't work. Think we're on to something here?
  14. Oh, I'm so glad I don't have to be in that area for another two weeks.
  15. I'm bored. My arthritis hurts, and today gave me a headache. Talk to me while I fill out orders.
  16. Nope, I just want snowglobes. The little one is obsessed with snowglobes. To heck with the bear, I'll just make 'em blue and put snow/sugar in them. Maybe a snowflake or something.
  17. Awwww, and I thought I was going to completely avoid baking this year.
  18. I whisper 'I'll never teeeeelllll' to mom and the other half all the time because it creeps them out.
