Oh good grief - how much longer will you all go on excusing this crap because you buy into whatever politicized garbage your party of choice is selling?

What I don't get (or a detail I missed along the way) is how coverage by a health insurance provider equates to Hobby Lobby providing free birth control? I could understand if they were asked to pay for it directly, but something that is included in coverage provided by a third party is a different matter entirely, in my opinion. When some of these same bunch of men balk at covering/providing Viagra as they do birth control, then I will take them seriously.

Your summers sound pretty similar to mine during my earlier childhood, Lowrider - except for the cotton. We spent a lot of time helping in one or both of our grandparents large vegetable gardens but they didn't grow cotton by the time I was old enough to help out. Some evenings there would be two or three families of aunts, uncles & cousins plus my grandparents on the front & side porches shelling peas, stringing beans or shucking ears of corn at the end of the day...

I wonder if he might have been running late & thought he would take the child to daycare at lunchtime, only to find he had died when he went to the car at that time? 9 am seems kind of late to start work if he was on his way home by 4 pm...

A similar scenario occurred to me, too. As for not telling anybody til later what had happened, if that is what happened, I imagine sheer panic would be to blame. Only someone unfamiliar with the internet and today's sensationalized news media would be ignorant to how quickly and thoroughly the public would chew them up and spit them out once such a tragic mistake came to light.

Addicts are simply someone who made a mistake that the non-addict didn't make/hasn't made yet...

Why should all of Congress not address the problem of unemployment in general? By making statements like that above, you are behaving no differently than those you are criticizing as using race to further an argument. And what should they do (besides abandon the regulation of businesses and repeal the corporate income tax)?

Clorox commercials. Nuff said. Flo is always creepy and weird. Seen her in a couple other roles, she was creepy and weird in those, too. The ridiculous Poise commercial about S A M. Basically all commercials, for one reason or another (usually stupidity). I really can't believe the people who come up with this nonsense are paid for their efforts, some are so bad. I do like the Snickers/Godzilla commercial. Not sure why exactly...

I was actually afraid the cat might become the victim of a hawk or other predator while still in the tree...and yes, dehydration was a real concern after the cat had been stranded for a couple days... Also glad they found someone with enough knowledge/experience to do the climbing needed to rescue the cat.

Romaine was a sweet soul. His warm smile and kind heart will be missed.

It is the old Pure station on W Memorial across from the package store & Dallas Motel. I believe it was the husband of Mrs G who was at W Spring & Main and she was saying he told her he saw a lot of police activity.... All I've heard has indicated it was a robbery or attempted robbery. Glad they caught the person who did this either way...

Sadly, while we argue the merits of our own position vs our families/friends/neighbors, politicians could care less, as long as they get theirs. What we are doing facilitates what they are doing, and what they are doing is screwing us over in every way imaginable and making it possible for anyone else who cares to do so. It's an internet message board. Nobody has physically attacked anyone and trailer park trash is a relative term; one that is also rather ambiguously applied in this setting. She was referring to the name calling and suggestion that anyone who doesn't agree with you should 'piss off'.
