  1. We use Cottenelle. Thick and strong and just the right softness.
  2. Honestly I don't think your scenario holds water, pardon the pun. First of all, as long as he has not altered his landscape in any way, then NO, he is not responsible for any damages caused by water runoff. Second, calling any insurance company is moot because they will most likely tell you that something such as this would not be covered because it is considered "an act of God". We had this problem as well with our neighbors yard sloping into ours. When they built our neighborhood, the builder did not grade it properly, that was of no concern to them. Anyway, there was never any gr
  3. Tell me about it, its totally nuts! And it's not like me or my husband have debilitating diseases or anything. I have epilepsy, he has general anxiety. My son was a preemie, he has had a few minor things but nothing serious. Our deductible is currently $2500. As far as individual plans go, I've heard that health insurance has gotten ridiculous in the last year or two. I'm all for affordable healthcare, but I'm not sure Obamacare is the way to go about it. You're lucky girl. Also, sorry for the hijack BL.
  4. That's about what we currently pay for our health insurance with BCBS for me, my husband, and our son. Of course, it's not thru an employer and we all have pre-existing conditions. It's more than our mortgage. I'm really scared to see what's in store for next year When Obamacare goes into effect.
  5. Yes there was also a horrible accident last Friday the 14th around this time and it was at the intersection of Old Hamilton. Traffic was at an absolute stand still and the Dallas Hwy westbound lanes were completely closed at that intersection, I guess until it got cleaned up. I had to go thru the Kroger parking lot and pass by the medical buildings beside it. I guess everyone else had that same idea because as soon as I got thru the Kroger, there was a line of cars. Had to detour on Due West. I wonder what happened to the people in that accident. Prayers for everyone involved in all
  6. Well whatever it may look like, it's definitely overkill. Why can't they just build a simple stadium without all the flashy innovative architectural hoopla?
  7. Welcome to Pcom! We'll definitely be back for more sandwiches.
  8. You must not like looking in the mirror then, huh? KIDDING! KIDDING! I couldn't resist.
  9. Meh. I've never been impressed with any Ruby Tuesday. Restaurant, food, and service are all just subpar. In fact, the Ruby Tuesday in Dallas is one of the closest sit down restaurants to where we live but we always bypass it and go to Hiram or somewhere else.
  10. That's a very good point. Of course elementary kids are in the same classroom all day long and not going from class to class. Maybe the upper levels will be for the older kids.
  11. Yeah over here it started green, then went to yellow, then orange, then finally a purplish hue before it finally got dark. So weird. Aww, bummer! Sorry that happened.
  12. Doesn't that part of the silver comet trail get the most crime? Right around that housing complex? Wasn't that where the woman got murdered? Anyway, I think that place getting torn down is probably one of the best decisions they could make for that area.
  13. I can't believe how light it is outside, just before 9 pm.
  14. Doesnt look to good out there right now. Lots of thunder and lightening. Currently the sky is green! We're still getting rain over in the Buchanan Hwy/278 area.
  15. That's exactly what I was thinking.
  16. Your topic title reminded me of this song, so I just had to post. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIwqw_2J6H8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  17. Holy crap, what the hell is wrong with this dude?!? And he only received a red card? He should have gotten an ass whooping! I just can't believe this.
  18. This is so sad. A true hero indeed. Good Samaritan left paralyzed after trying to save 4-year-old child By Diana Davis ROME, Ga. — A good Samaritan has been left paralyzed after he dove into a swift-moving creek to save a 4-year-old girl who was being swept away. Even though Michael Patterson is being hailed as a hero, he has no insurance to cover what will be thousands of dollars in health care costs and rehabilitation. "I was terrified, that's it. I mean it's my daughter," said Carlissa Jones, talking about seeing her 4-year-old daughter Javea being swept away down E
  19. Just watched it. And yes it gave me a big smile! I am so happy to see his progress, it does my heart good. I look forward to more videos like this!
  20. Oh I think he is awesome as a country singer. One of the smartest decisions he could have made. Country looks good on him!
  21. Don't come near me! I'm highly allergic and with a slight touch I'd be covered in it in no time. No suggestions except maybe a stiff drink. (there I go with the alcohol again ) Very sorry your going through this, it's not fun at all. Hope it clears up soon.
