  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug5zKwJuWbU&feature=youtube_gdata_player You just can't make this stuff up. How on earth something like this gets past a news station is beyond me. I mean really people?? Hilarious nonetheless.
  2. You spoilin that baby! Is it male or female?
  3. My husband doesn't think they're funny. He runs out of the room!
  4.  I laughed so hard I could have made a sequel to that video.
  5. Yes, but it's my understanding that a wrongful death must be proved based on negligence, discrimination, or civil rights violations. I'm not sure, I'd have to look into that more. Since Zimmerman has already been found not guilty, I think it might be hard to prove that Martin's death resulted in nothing else but self defense. That's my thoughts on it. But I guess we'll see what comes of the civil trial.
  6. I'm thinking it might be kind of hard for Martin's parents to prosecute him in civil court. Being as he has already been found not guilty in a state trial due to self defense, they could use that as evidence in civil court to prove that a hate crime or a civil rights violation had not been committed.
  7. Oh great. Another thread that will be 30+ pages of bulls**t.
  8. No, because it would just have been the smarter decision to stay in his car. But I don't blame him for doing so. I actually agree with the not guilty verdict and agree that he was acting in self defense. Just because I think he made a bad decision does not mean I think the entire incident was his fault.
  9. Where is Camden Woods Subdivision?
  10. Edison only first patents the light bulb. End of story.
  11. We will definitely be trying this one in the near future. I've seen nothing but good reviews on this place. Thanks for the review Blondie!
  12. Un-huh....and it couldn't have anything to do with that pesky little thing called evidence, could it? Or shall I say lack there of.
  13. Might want to take a look at this. It will make you do an about face. Her husband's account of the event is a bit different. Marissa Alexander's husband says it was her violent nature that led to shooting If her husband is sincere in his statements then it sure doesn't sound like self defense to me and it definitely doesn't sound like she's the victim in all this. Although I do agree tht the sentence is a bit harsh.
  14. I'm very sorry for your loss and saddened tha these people are free.
  15. Dude, that's definitely too soon. No matter what verdict people were hoping for, we should all take into account someone's son has died as a result of all of this. That is the most important thing.
  16. How about injuries consistent with getting your head slammed into the concrete, or blows to the face making it feel like you would pass out at any moment. This has all been claimed by Zimmerman, which I know wouldn't make much of a difference to anyone seeking a guilty verdict on him, as they believe he is lying about every last thing he said. I don't think some people know the correct definititon of self defense either.
  17. As you've illustrated in your scenarios, if someone has intent to kill it is not self defense. Throughout this trial I never saw any evidence to suggest that Zimmerman intentionally sought out to kill Trayvon.
