Before burning, you must call an automated phone system at 770-505-2876. You must listen to the entire recording to know if outdoor burning is allowed that day, and you must call each day that you plan to burn. A fire must be at least 50 feet away from any structure. A garden hose or water supply must be readily available. The material that will be burned cannot exceed 8 feet by 8 feet by 8 feet in size. Natural vegetation burns that exceed the size limit must contact Georgia Forestry for a permit at 770-443-7821. Only natural products—leaves, tree limbs, etc.—can be burned. No hazardous m

In addition to paying deceased beneficiaries, the inspector general's review found that the agency overpaid about $313 million to 89,300 beneficiaries and improperly paid about $7.3 million to 11,912 non-beneficiaries. The audit also found that of the approximately 2.8 million death reports the Social Security Administration receives per year, about 14,000 -- or one in every 200 deaths -- are incorrectly entered into its Death Master File. http://money.cnn.com...eased/index.htm In 2009, the last year for which figures are available, employers reported wages of $72.8 billion for 7.7 mi

Looks like Hugh Everett made some comments on this page to counter some of that. Not sure if the links will work. Did you say 386,000 fewer unemployed? I think I just found them. These were the Americans who simply dropped out of the labor force last month out of desperation. http://www.taipeitimes.com/New... Here are the numerical facts regarding employment in America: The number of Americans between the ages of 18-64 who are no longer in the labor force is 89 million. http://cnsnews.com/news/articl... The thing I would laud about the fair tax is freeing up my paycheck. The Fair tax would be a work in progress where we the people should have a say if there are deductions for mortgages, child rearing or whatever. Its an idea I would like to see tried. After all we tried bailouts and how did that work for you? High unemployment is not worthy of anything other than a picture of how government in stopping business from creating work opportunity. I want to see what 1 year of Fair tax would do. If it is an awful failure, toss it. The income tax has been around since 1913 and has more bureaucr

I would go to the Department of labor. You worked and should get paid. I worked for a theater for a day and discovered that my other job conflicted with it. I explained to the employer why I could not honor the commitment and he did not want to pay. One call from the dept of labor changed that. I got paid.

Papi, you are right. For Fair Tax to work the Government needs to stop out of control government spending on pork barrel projects. Clark Howard pointed this out. We hand over a good idea to the Government and it goes sour.

The FairTax is a single-rate, federal retail sales tax collected only once, at the final point of purchase of new goods and services for personal consumption. Used items are not taxed. Business-to-business purchases for the production of goods and services are not taxed. A prebate makes the effective rate progressive. Considering half of what I but id from the Goodwill and yard sales not a bad idea. Also consider used cars we buy now.

Then Why not just tax goods and services instead of income?

I have looked at all I can find and have no other details about Desoto other than the fact that it was founded as a post office in 1855 and the last mention was 1866. The Floyd County part of Desoto was founded in 1870 and later fused into Rome Ga becoming its Fourth Ward. I looked at several maps and cant seem to find. Here is a list of a few post offices up to Dallas BAKER Paulding GA 1892 - 1905 5 BRANCH Paulding GA 1870 - 1883 7 BRASWELLPaulding GA 1882 / 1918 4 BROWNSVILLEPaulding GA 1860 / 1905 4 BUD Paulding GA 1893 - 1903 5 CAGLE Paulding GA 1898 - 1902 6 COLEole Pauldin
