We do this "thing" once a year and throwing a party that is based on the fireworks is more work than I can even say. So....I'll be blessed if I'm going to hassle with driving here, there and everywhere to conform with the rules and regulations of a newly passed law. We have a great party with a great crowd of good folks and my husband is big into the "show" so, long story short, we just go to Alabama. I'm not suggesting folks shouldn't work through the effort to buy local, I'm just saying it doesn't work for us. This year is the grand finale.........and grand it will be!!!

That statement just proves how a myopic view is a dead end. Maybe some travel would put you in a better, less judgemental, place.

Spoke to Melissa today......that woman is one special gal. Thad has finally responded to the antibiotics and is doing much better. Not out of the woods yet but it's, at least, looking up for his recovery. They have taken him out of isolation. She sounded good and had gotten some rest.

Such a good joke in there somewhere. LOL

I just heard on the news that further investigation had been done and the no charges status may change. They also referenced the post on Facebook. Wonder when the driver of the Mustang will be identified.

Maybe someone else remembers a post from a LEO that was also a member here. He let all of us know that he held all of us by the short hairs. If I remember, he posted that he had the power to cost us money, time and embarrassment. He was very exact in the fact that he had the power, not us. And God help anyone who choose to question his authority. I looked, but his account has been scrubbed, with the exception of two posts. Anyway, anyone else remember that post?
