  1. While I'm sure you would like for everyone to believe this, it's not the whole story. Greedy, big business also contributed to the downfall as well.
  2. When I have to cut the pastures, I've used that OFF fan with good results. The tractor has a roll bar and when you get into the tree line, that roll bar hits every low branch and it's raining ALL kinds of stuff down on you. The fan has worked to keep the little @&$@$&?!?!!!!! off of me.
  3. I could not agree more! There is a place in Douglasville that we really like but someone posted that there was a bad story about them and ever since then, I have wondered.
  4. I've never known anyone with this condition, it sounds like a real pain in the butt to deal with. Both for the person dealing with the condition as well as the people around them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misophonia You seem to have too good of a sense of humor to be dealing with this. Good luck.
  5. I just have to be fast! The back pasture should be fun! I always hated putting that powder down.....it smells bad and can't be good for the environment. Now watch, I'll be posting complaining about ants bites instead of chigger bites....have I told you how much I hate chiggers?
  6. Thanks so much for this hint. Another plus is no chemicals!
  7. Well the "nanny state" government started in 1935!
  8. I was sorry to read this. I'm sure the racing industry could use another shot in the arm. Glad to see the owners/trainers going for the long haul. He will make them a ton of money. Very few things are as exciting as a good horse race huh?
  9. Some of you just won't agree that it's just not all gloom and doom. Bad? Yes. Impossible? No. If you are in a ditch, get out of Paulding county so you can get a better job. You can always come back once you get on your feet. If you stay in this county to work then you better get creative. I hate to say it but that's how it looks to me.
  10. I agree Mark. I think it's a very good thing that lenders have tightened up their guidelines. People need to be able to afford home ownership.
  11. I didn't have to make dinner tonight cause we had a big lunch with fried chicken, rice and gravy and peas. Dessert was from scratch chocolate pudding with homemade whipped cream. I'll tell you what, KRM makes the BEST fried chicken ever! I love our homemade lunches!
  12. If that was directed at me, I checked the map and as it turns out I am not even in District 19.
  13. Ours went down too but I really don't care. When it's time for us to sell, we will get what we need to get or we won't sell cause there is no way we are taking a loss on this place. No way, no how. But our circumstances are different because the place is buyer specific and I can't tell you how many people have asked us if we are interested in selling. We have spent a lot of time and effort not to mention a bunch of money on this place.
  14. I went today and thought the produce section was great! Lots of different peppers and lots of different fruit. Different farm/country meats. I bought some chicken and it was very fresh and tasted good. I'll be back!
  15. Sorry Zoo, but the link I provided confirmed, to me anyway, that the family was at the end of the money flow. I really can't get my mind around an attorney lying to the court. That's professional suicide. Oh, before I forget, thanks mods for effectively shutting down the conversation on this topic.
  16. Zoo, looks like the family was at the end of the money flow. http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-judge-revokes-george-zimmerman-bond-20120601,0,4612322.story Btw, I see the postmans topic and mine were merged...that's OK cause I posted the topic because I wanted to read how people felt about this and because he had posted it didn't look like people would respond. Btw, Postman perhaps you can change your approach. I have no bone to pick with you but I did want to find out how people felt about this.
  17. Why do you think that the attorney knew? Did you read something that confirms this? I'm leaning more towards his family being the ones that knew. Would the attorney risk his career by lying to the court?
  18. Yes. I heard that on the news report too. It's paper heavy to get one, how do you get two?
  19. Well hell Zoo, then I guess all the threads concerning court cases are irrelevant. As far as the outcome, you are correct because the courts will decide the outcome. That doesn't mean that folks can't have opinions on the case. I'd like to know where the money flowed. I'm not sure how the attorneys would know if it was set up by his family. Also, I do believe the attorney would have been reprimanded by the courts.
  20. What say ye? Personally, I understand the money they are referring to came to him via contributions from a web site. Did he have the money when he told the court he was broke? I have to think that the court looked at the time line and came to the conclusion that he lied about being broke.
  21. Instead of slamming, why not provide conflicting information.
  22. Thanks for the heads up Bob.
