Yep...me too. This guy struck me as very capable with a sense of humor to boot. I wanted to give him some cash to show my appreciation so as I was pressing a twenty dollar bill into his hand, he says "sweet lady, you don't have to do that" my response was I absolutely need to do this! What a doll!

Why thank you PM. My nephew and family flew back home out of Orlando. That was the thing.....I was all by myself. I promise, I was very, very grateful to run into these fine folks! It could have turned out very different. Thanks heavens for good folks.

I was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. All that stress and at the end, it worked out perfect! All because these folks were willing to help me out. Just a note to all you folks out there. Sometimes you DO run into good folks!

No damage to the truck or trailer....thank heavens. These folks I ran across were just good folks, they had it all over them. I was SO grateful for their help. Those little streets are tight! I felt like I was stuck on murder row.....and there these folks were! They were just awesome!

I went to Orlando for 10 days with the travel trailer. My nephew and his wife and two kids flew in from New York and we all did the Disney thing for a week. My nephew is my hero....he has become a very good man and I love him very, very much. So, this past Thursday I make my way home. All is good.....get off at I20 in Villa Rica. Go through VR and get stopped because of a water main break. Get into those narrow , little streets....can't make a turn without tearing the trailer in two because of a light pole.....tried twice. Ended up backing up over a ditch into a church front yard area.

Who thinks that capital gains will come into play with this market? You can thank the republicans for creating this mess in the first place. To say otherwise is just smoke and mirrors.

Thanks DR. I'll try this one....I mean it is Paula and all..... I had another get together but this time is was Christmas cookies. One of the gals cookies kept coming out pretty brown on the bottom. She said that was the only way she knew how to make them cause that was the way her kids liked them.

I hear ya Papi. I wanted to be able to make those high hat cat head, fluffy, light biscuits. Even had a get together with southern gals to show me how. One brought a bag of frozen biscuits. Yeah, it was fun but not much help.....my biscuits still came out like hockey pucks.

Actually it's 3 percent and it's based on your capital gains. With this market, not much of a threat.

My concern is that an individual would be subject to the millions the county can spend on attorney's fees. At the end of the day, even if your case is black and white, the only one who wins are the attorneys. It doesn't matter if you are clearly in the right. Litigation costs, especially when a county is involved, are big, big money. I just don't want too see a private citizen go the route of bringing a suit against the county. Since you feel so strongly about this, vote them out. Work on the opposing candidates campaign. Protest. As far as I can see, this is about the only power

My two cents, if you choose to bring a suit against a county, any county, you are asking for huge attorneys fees and a battle that will last for years and years. You will suffer big debt and a lawsuit which will lead you nowhere. I would much rather explore my options that I have control over, like moving. Is it right? No, I don't think it's right, but it is the reality of the situation. I realize that most people would have to sell at a loss. Choose your battles.

I grew up with real trees. Pretty much swore I would never agree to get an artificial tree. Well, after remembering the cost and hassle of having a real tree for 45 or so years.....I got a nice artificial one. I'm OK with that. Blondie, your tree looks beautiful. Enjoy.
