I have for years sent Christmas cards out ,around 50 or 60, I may get a few one year and the next year get just about the same amount I sent out. I have started putting elderly shut-ins top priority on my Christmas card list. They may not have family and may be spending Christmas alone, there are widows that have lost the love of thier spouse, parents that have lost thier only child, those are who I focus on sending cards to,they are the ones that need to feel the spirit of Christmas, so if my list starts growing again, I will keep sending. yep ,I feel the same way, married at 18, raised 4 children from my hubbys 2 bad marraiges and now I have 4 of my stepsons children raising them, I am tired of being a responsible parent and grandparent. I want to be in the mountains this weekend.You think life is hard raising your children, wait till some grandkids are dropped on your doorstep.

I think too that it has alot to do with age, my grandskids are 6 and 7. kindergarten and 1st grade. Older children may not have this problem as most of themm use tissues, wash hands and keeps thier hands out of thier mouth.

I do not know this for sure, but I have a good Idea that my two grandkids are getting sick alot and I feel like silly bands have alot to do with it.Ever since school started they have had the sillybands on, the problem is that I noticed that when they came home, they would tell me that so and so traded a silly band to them for a different silly band. Get a new doctor, I used to carry my mama to the doctor and yes, she was overweight, people that are overweight know it, they do not need a doctor to tell them that, mama would leave the office crying, I wanted to knock his head off. Hi, I would be getting another doctor.(Podiatrist) Yes as we get older, we tend to put on weight and I guess if I was terribly overweight I would try to lose weight to help with the pain, but I am not overweight and have to run after a 2 and 4 year old at 45 years old. my feet are not use to this, that is why we have kids when we are young. If you know you are overweight then I would try to lose and do the exercises for the foot, then when/ if that fails, then I would go for the shot.

Thank you for posting this,I spoke to a friend of mine the other day that suffers with this and she told me that the stretches and excercising the foot worked best, she said the shots were only temp. fix. I have been suffering with this as well off and on, but recently have it constantly.I also have my 4 grandkids 24/7 and it is painful, I have started using my cane in the morning just to get up to get the 2 older children up and ready for school. This morning was a very bad day, I was on my feet cleaning and doing laundry all day yesterday. I am paying today.

Hi all, I am going to be putting my grandson in Pre-k next year, my youngest son is 24 yo. I have never had any experience with daycare, I was a stay at home mom who did pre-k at home, I am much older now and with all these grandkids here I do not have alot of time on my hands.
