  1. CALL THE POSTMASTER, they know what to do and they do not take it lightly, better yet go to the post pffice and ask for postmaster, the 1-800 number is really a joke.
  2. I was just wondering if you recieved a tax assessment from Atlanta Tax Comm., I called in January and asked when they would be sent out, they said they were not sure but I should recieve it no later than June, so I wait and wait, and wait, so I called this week and my house value did not change, so therefore the assessor chose to not send me one, which means I cannot appeal my assessment because you had to appeal only between January thru April, I have pitched a fit, Shirley and the Atl. have taken my right away from me to appeal and I am now demanding my assessment and I will be appealing it
  3. Does anyone know if there are any festivals or celabrations this weekend locally, I would like to just make a weekend of going from one to another, mini vacation, I know Marietta is having one , but do you know of any more in N.W. GA. Thank you
  4. My step dad has gout and my grandfather had Gout, the culprit that cause some gout issues are chicken livers and calves liver, stay away from any fried or cooked livers.
  5. You are right. I do shop down there (if they have something I'm interested in buying). I do patronize the eateries, especially Sal's. But I was really wondering if there was more I could do? Volunteer time, etc? Just like you said and I quote (If they have something I am interested in) NOT, nothing down there, a empty courthouse being rented to a college with our tax money building a new one, renovations to the old one with our tax money, well looks like I am broke, can't shop with no money, Paulding spent it. Oh well.
  6. I was reading the the AJC and found that Reba Couey from Cresent Park & Dazzles skating Rink had passed away at age 83. I am so overwhelmed at this point with very fond memories of Carl & Reba. www.ajc.com/obits or www.whitleygarner.com
