  1. I'm not going designer. I looked at the Coach one and thought...I'd rather buy a new purse, that I can use for the next 10 years, than a diaper bag that I will use for 3. Part time. I'm watching a Kate Spade on eBay and I'll snag that for the right price, but I'm not 'lunching with the ladies' - I work for a living. I've got a city bag from LL Bean; sounds like the best idea to use that and buy a $10 changing pad.
  2. Yeah, I get it, diapers. I'm also assuming blankets, change of clothes, pacifiers, boob hiding blanket. But, I must be missing some stuff because when I looked in the store, there were a lot of compartments, flaps and other such crap that must make one easier than the other - or so it would seem. Robin, the thought of baby shopping seems as arduous as rock climbing, but I suppose as some point I should! Call you later!
  3. Having a baby has become as irritating and as ridiculous as getting married. We eloped. To Vegas. Anyways - I need a diaper bag. I don't even know what to put IN a diaper bag, if I'm honest. There are fifty thousand to choose from and I can't really find a GOOD review site that isn't completely in the back pocket of the manufacturers. I don't care about cost, just want to know what has the best - what I can maneuver with one hand in a bathroom stall, etc.
  4. She is a whack job!!! Somewhere, she was seriously twisted - this is one STEAMY trial!
  5. Is this being televised? I've found the stream...but nothing on TV
  6. ban ferries. or drinking. or mermaids.
  7. Home Depot does not sell wallpaper. Lowes has a few with samples, textured stuff.
  8. Oh honey...I'm in marketing. I deal with "creative license" on a daily basis. I make a good living leading the sheep like you off the cliff. You keep believing everything you read, and people like me will keep selling you sheeze!
  9. The pic in your banner isn't clickable...I did click the URL to get you thought,
  10. The private sector jobs that were added were seasonal...and don't even cover half of the new people that enter the work force on any given month. Baaaaaaaa....baaaaaaa....
  11. Dear God, learn how to think beyond what the damn media spoon feeds you. Your posts make me sad for the future of our children.
  12. Do you seriously think that today's job report was positive?
  13. I was at Kroger the other day and they had chicken on sale for $1.99/lb. They were the big breast, which we don't normally do. We usually do the Publix Green Wise tenderloins since only my husband and I eat chicken. Anyways, I baked a couple breast the other night and they were terrible. They had a rubbery taste to them, and I'm not sure why. My only guess is that they're pumped full of water and broth and this must change the consistency. My problem is that I bought 6 packs of the stuff. So, now I have 10 massive breasts (so big my husband and I split ONE!) - how can I cook the
  14. Corporate marketing pays my bills. It bought my house, my 2 cars, pays for my vacations and I take my $2M annual budget and spend it on LOTS of other people to have jobs, houses and cars too! Do you know that my set up and take down fees for a conference appearance can often cost as much as my company's attendance at said conference thanks to the unions? Since I don't have a choice but to use union labor, it often means that I have to pick and choose which shows I'm at...for every one we don't attend, that means that 3-4 rooms don't get occupied (for a week), 3-4 seats go vacant o
  15. So much for marriage. These are our children's heros, folks. America, F%CK YEAH!
  16. I'm not sure the last time you went to Buckhead, but there's not a ton there anymore for the 20 something crowd unless you consider the triangle - and that's just frat-tastic! The rest is fairly posh, but that also means that it's going to be your yuppie 30s and 40s and up... I guess fado's, Tin Lizzys, etc...yeah, maybe Buckhead isn't terrible.
  17. Here's the place in Dunwoody that I was telling you about... http://aboveatlanta.com/atlanta-high-rise-condominiums/the-manhattan-condos-dunwoody-georgia.htm These places are small, but really nice inside. The views are spectacular! http://aboveatlanta.com/atlanta-high-rise-condominiums/the-aberdeen-condos-vinings-atlanta.htm I haven't been in these above, but the views are going to be great and it's off the beaten path. You're minutes from Buckhead - but use caution, you're also minutes from where we used to live!
  18. The concierge is what hangs it up, though I can't tell you how helpful that service will be! They are KEY for a traveling person in the city since they can manage everything - dry cleaning, dog walkers, personal shopppers, etc. If you have no choice but to be surrounded by a myriad of service people, it's best to have a staff member that knows what faces should and shouldn't be coming and going. I just saw that W. has condos in the downtown location - news to me. Problem with all of these is that highrise = downtown or midtown, both of which I've never cared much for. I prefer East Atlant
  19. I looked at Daniel's pricing and they are about the same. Three-13 gets pricey as your stylist advances, but if you ask for rising star - designer, the prices are actually a bit lower...and they are, by far, WAY up there with education. They actually run their own school with manditory continuing ed. Here's a tip - buy a gift card. They run great specials. So, if you buy $150 gift card (which should cover a partial and cut - no blow out), you get something free, either extra cash towards services or a free massage, etc.
  20. This is the crap that makes me ASHAMED to be American. As a collective whole, we take a tragedy and use it as a way to gain money and/or power.
  21. I go to three 13, dru for color, kris (female) for cut.
