Mmmmm OK. I don't think the coop, and outside run is large enough. Letting them free range is out, because two of the dogs will chase them.

Thanks to both of you. He was a stray, and we thik he may have been used for fighting. Anyway he is living the good life now. We finally got the coob, and outside run finished, now he just needs some lady friends. We're thinking 3 or 4.

I was hoping you could tell me what breed of Rooster Duke is.

Yes, I know of quite a few veterans that have switched from that one to the one in Carrolton. We switched to Carrolton from the Rome clinic. My point is that the general care clinics (Carrolton has more then the other clinics) are great. However Veterans still have to go to Decatur for cardic, eye surgery, some mental health issues. Pretty much if it requires a stay in the hospital the veteran still must go to Decatur.

Yes, Paulding was in despreate need of the hospital. It would have really been awesome if there had been a way to partner with the VA to have a more local clinic/hopital system here as well. As it is our veterans still have to go to Decatur for many of their major, and some minor surgiries. I did notice that the airport issue was mentioned. I also noticed that now apperantly the flights have gone from "a few" to a few dozen. Wonder how many a few dozen (12 is a dozen) they are talking about. I also somehow missed in all of the hubbub that the FAA, and the GDOT also is objecting to this. Ma

Actually I did miss that. However, does she have PTSD, and is it SC? If so I can understand how the sound of helicopters can be a trigger, not the cause of the disorder. Just asking. I do think she needs to clarify her statement. -
^^^What she said.

National Guard Halts training at airport

http://www.webmd.com/anxiety-panic/tc/post-traumatic-stress-disorder--symptoms First understand that I am not in favor of commercialization of the airport. FTR if we had been living here before the airport I would've voted against it. PTSD is a very real mental health issue, and quite frankly I take offense to anyone claiming this who does not indeed have it. Our veterans have suffered too long, and now that it is FINALLY recognized as a true condition, I feel that her claims (unless she can truly show that the training is the cause of her statements) not only an affront to anyone who -
I only use FB. All of my extended family lives elsewhere, so it is the best way to keep up with them. I have no interest in twittering. I don't need, nor want to know what anyone is doing every minute of the day. I try to keep my FB drama, and political free as possible. But, when you have 20 somethings on there it can be a challenge.

Georgia Chapter of the Trail of Tears Association

I agree. But there is more then Jackson "hating" the Indian. I just think that even though we understand things to be wrong, we also need to understand the time that historical events happened and the thought process of the people who lived during that time. Thus the importance of remembering our history so as not to repeat the mistakes of the past. -
Too soon guys. It may have gone down in the ocean.

There are two tribes of Cherokee. The ones in OK. were sold out by one of their own chiefs. He signed away their property. There is so very much more to the story then the "headline" that eddie would post. When one studies history one must think like the time they are studying. You can not, and should not apply 21st century thinking to 19th century issues. -

As I recall there isn't anyone on the boards that has any experience in running an airport. Right? Oh, and as it stands the airport at this point only has 2 employees? And, one of those lives in another county?
-
"As Blake said it just never occurred to him that a bond would not be passed to finance the work at the airport." LLPT Isn't he the fellow that doesn't live in Paulding? He's on the IBA, and the AA. Part getting 2 paychecks from the citizens of Paulding. Now as I understand he doesn't know anything about running an airport. Just asking.

Anyone have experience with dysgraphia?
gog8tors replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yes,oldest has ADHD. It wasn't until he was out of school did I find out that his test, and other writing tasks could have been given orally. He was on an IEP and it should have been one of the modifications. It is really frustrating when the teacher states "he knows the material, he just can't seem to get it on paper." I was think like a template they can trace the letters with. Your right it will be a exercise in trail, and error. -
Damn those of us that have retired, and now have time to fully pay attention to what's going on, and seeing how much nepotism is going on. Apparently you don't even have to live in the county to spend the county's money. This is what I hear: don't worry trust us we know what's best. This is what I know: Our roads, both major, and secondary need to be repaved, and the potholes fixed. How bout figuring out a way to make those intersections (Hiram Sudie @ Bill Currth)that seem to have accident, after accident safer? Every year when school starts, the bitching commences about the teac

Slow-poke bill aims to stop left-lane lingerers
gog8tors replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Y'all I'm being a smart ass. I usually stay in the middle two lanes (which very rarely are going the speed limit.) I will pass to the left, and get back into the lane that I was traveling in. I usually move to what ever lane I need to exit from about 1mi +/- before I get to my exit. I don't travel the highway more then absolutely possible. And, after this Saturday it will be a long time before I'll go to the Dome again. I'm telling ya that place is cursed for me.
