Chalk it up to being a guy. You know they just don't get it. Now if it were a particular car, boat, tool, etc. you know he would be peeing in his pants with excitement. Glad you found it, it is very cute.

Are You Really Protecting Your Pet Against Heart Worms
gog8tors replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I thought this was about Heartworms. K9-Advantix is a flea and tick PREVENTION. It has no heartworm PREVENTIVE in it. Meaning it is NOT for the prevention of heartworms. Heartguard has been on the market for many years. I do believe that it was the first MONTHLY product to be developed. Before that there was flairabits. In my 20+ years in veterinary medician, I have never seen a pet that is on Heartgaurd get heart worms. As long as the product is given as directed (once a month EVERY month.) It also states on the idiot sheet (that's the paper with the drug information) not to give it -
What a lovely way to start the first day of Summer!
gog8tors replied to Blondiega1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well dang, I forgot to look at mine today. Left before the sun was up, and didn't get back till almost 7. Spent the day at the USA Football Academy camp. 2 more days. Whoo hoo. DS is having fun, and learning from some of the best coaches in Ga. as well as a few other places. Blondie the flower is beautiful. -
Voted and shared!! Good luck!!!

I thought there was a PIAS in Douglasville.

Yea, your right. Thank God my parents taught me to stay out of areas that you could get hurt in. There are areas like that in EVERY town. You know the areas you don't go to unless you are looking for trouble? Just like I wouldn't take my son to certain areas due to have to explain things that he's not quite old enough for. It's not fear, it's common sense. Something that many people are lacking.

Set your cruise to exactly the speed limit. They hate that I do it all the time, specially on Nebo road.

This is true. Last time We (my youngest and I) went to a Braves game. We got lost when we left, and were not sure where we were at. Yes, it was scary. Especially when I had to tell DS "don't look at them, and put your window all the way up." Due to two very sketchy men approaching our car. Thank goodness the light turned green, before they got to close. Twenty three years ago, I don't recall it being as bad as it is now. But, neither was the Chamblee area. I might should have said "I would love to go see the better teams that play the Falcons, and some of the concerts after the Brav

No fear, I just don't like to spend money on overpriced, over hyped things. Same reason I don't go downtown for many things. We don't go to the Chamblee, burford hwy area either. The crime in these areas just adds ONE more reason not to go.

Do you think the big stores are taking advantage of us...

But, but I thought things were getting better! Well that's what a certain zc poster keeps telling us over in the political forum. -
What she said!!! I do hope this is a rhetorical question and call the police is exactly what you did.

I would love to go to see a Braves game or even a Falcons game (if they are playing the Dolphins or Cowboys.) But, we don't simply because of how it's become. We moved here from FL. 23 years ago, it wasn't bad then. Now it's down right scary.

Awesome!!! I'm happy to know they have so many. It's also good that the babies at the AC will have something to curl up to tonight.

Some of those stuffed animals can be givin to police and fire departments. Sometimes it is the only thing a little kid can hold on to while their whole world is falling apart.

Drank Milk all my life, not so much any more. Sometimes mom would mix powdered with whole milk, to make it last. We (my little sister and I) had FRESH squeezed orange, grapefruit, lime, and lemon juice. Lemon juice was lemon aid of course as was the lime. But, orange and grapefruit juice was together or separate. Juice is great without all the sugars added. In my house the only OJ that is bottled that our family will drink is Simply Orange. I don't know how much extra stuff is in it, but it does taste the closest to fresh squeezed. My kids will only drink whole milk. The two oldest are o

Pros of the blob- It's wet, easy, to get in and out of, easy set up Cons of the blob- Not beg enough, if you have bigger kids,9 and up, it doesn't do well with the rough housing, I found that alge built up under the ring more then any where else. You do want to make sure that the ground is as level as possible. We didn't have any issues with the pump, (that's why there's directions ) The bigger pool is better for older kids. Pros are the same for both. This is our 5th season with the one we have. Only had to replace the hoses once due to weathering. The con is that you can't swim

Started with the blob went to the Intex. Now we (me and my husband) want an inground.
