I think this isn't so much about the HOA rules as much as everything was set for the house to be built. All the permits, plans, etc. Then the HOA pulled out. We purposely chose a home without an HOA.

It has to be very well written. By that, I mean you have to be able to visualize the setting, almost be able to smell the smells or feel the weather. But, yea I tend to place myself in the book.

Will keep y'all in our prayers. If he is like most men, he'll be feeling good. Make sure he follows the doctors orders. That was the hardest part for me. DH was all "I'm feeling good, I can go back to work etc. etc." you get the idea.
