  1. I'm sure that these things are being considered. Geez let the woman be happy for a minute.
  2. That is great. And, yes math teachers are terrorist.
  3. This post I can agree with. I know shocker.
  4. Looks like there was not that much paper work. http://www.wrdw.com/homeandfamily/headlines/Statement_on_Decision_to_Not_Build_in_Knob_Hill__124622339.html We went from approval on June 2, in which the only outstanding issue was materials and colors, to a cease and desist order, to rescission of approval on June 20, even though we had submitted all the information requested and told the Property Owners Association we would make any modifications they wanted with regard to exterior finishes.
  5. Wonderful news. Praise to God.
  6. I think this isn't so much about the HOA rules as much as everything was set for the house to be built. All the permits, plans, etc. Then the HOA pulled out. We purposely chose a home without an HOA.
  7. It has to be very well written. By that, I mean you have to be able to visualize the setting, almost be able to smell the smells or feel the weather. But, yea I tend to place myself in the book.
  8. Dallas with a Dallas addie. We go to Hiram because it's easier. We shop at RR Kroger. Discount on gas, and Sr. Citizen discount. Helps a lot when you use coupons too. I wouldn't know the first thing about Douglasville. I hate shopping anyway so I won't go out of my way to go to a mall or anything like that. Unless it is a special occasion IE: my daughter getting married.
  9. I was mistaken. There is no "cooling off period," but here is a link to the Ga. tenant landlord rules. This should answer most if not all of your questions. http://www.dca.state.ga.us/housing/HousingDevelopment/programs/downloads/Georgia_Landlord_Tenant_Handbook.pdf
  10. Critter Catchers. They just rid us of bats. Russ was wonderful. He even took the baby that we rescued with him to rehap and release when it is ready. PM you with the number.
  11. I think you have a 72 hour window in which to change your mind.
  12. Some have asked about the 4th happenings. So I'm bumping this up for those who missed it yesterday.
  13. I usually say "excuse me" in my best mom voice. They move, and their faces are usually red from embarrassment. Men folk in HD get in their own little world, you just have to treat them like kids.
  14. 5 dogs 3 cats 1 goldfish 1 preteen 1 Husband. All in the house. Out side small pond full of tadpoles.
  15. Sounds like fun. With the 4th falling on Monday, why not just make a really awesome weekend out of it.
