Yuck I had pitocin with my 2nd child, that stuff sneaks up on you! I stalled for like 3 hours and then went from 3 cm to 7 cm in less than 30 mins. I almost didn't get the epi in time it went so quick. But good luck your baby will be here soon!!

I haven't quite read through all of this thread yet but IMO school is MUCH harder now than when I was in school. There's way too much stress being placed on these kids for all these tests. I do realize things change over time, and as parents we just have to push our kids more so they can keep up and succeed but really its just too much. The schools start talking about CRCTs the first week the kids start back in the fall and you hear about it all year long. The kids get stressed over this. Plus a full month has been shaved off summer break. When I was in school, we didnt go back til Lab

Schools/kids/parents - we have major issues

There's definitely a rise in spoiled brats in our society. Lots of lazy parents out there who dont discipline their kids and teach them manners and respect. -

Yep, totally agree... that could work! -
I wanted Ron Paul to win back in 2008. He was a very good choice for President, but didnt get the attention he should have gotten. He could have fixed this mess we are in. I bet if he were to run in 2012, he would get a lot more votes this time around than last time. Many Obama supporters are realizing it was a mistake putting 'O' in office. I think I will write in Ron Paul's name on the 2012 ballot if Newt and Obama are our only choices.

I have a Greendot card that I use for all purchases I make on the internet. That way I have control over how much is on that card, so there is NO money to take out of there if *I* dont put it there. There is no money on it if Im not buying anything. There's a lot of companies that use this practice (lure you w/ free trials then steal your money). Gotta be careful. -

I'm not singling out pits here. Any large dog can be dangerous, medium and smaller breeds can be dangerous too if they are not raised properly. The owners need to act as the alpha first off and instill obedience into their pet. If you can't be an alpha you dont need a large dog, period. Pits however have a reputation there's no denying that. Why is that?? Shepherds dont have that reputation, or Great Danes etc. Im not saying other breeds dont attack but pits are notorious for it. My brother has a brindle pit bull. He lived with us last year in our bonus room for several months w

I just hope they put something new and different there. Popeye's would be cool. Or maybe a Hardee's. Or even better - a Krispy Kreme!!!

I read somewhere the 2010 Census data wont be available in its entirety until 2013. This site has a LOT of info about Paulding County though http://www.city-data.com/county/Paulding_County-GA.html

Any dog that isnt raised properly can be dangerous, yes even a Chihuahua BUT Pit Bulls have the reputation they have, for good reason. They are dangerous and it isnt uncommon to hear of pits that are normally 'sweet, loving' dogs to suddenly go psycho and attack, that is just the nature of that breed. We have German Shepherds, and they are controlled at all times. My shepherds would die for our family, they are the most loyal dogs you would ever meet, but we do make sure our dogs do not roam the neighborhood like any decent pet owner does.

I think channel 2 said the child is in fair condition, not totally sure though. The owners should be charged here. I detest pet owners like that. if you own a potentially dangerous breed you damn sure better keep it restrained. The boy is lucky to be alive.

Well I think it's pretty safe to say that we will not see gas below $3.50 a gallon anytime soon. I think this whole $4/gallon crap was just a ploy so that we would think we are getting a good deal at $3.50 which is what they wanted it be this whole time. Just my opinion.....

Mud boggin in North Paulding is in the news this week

Oh come on. People drink at braves games, people drink at the lake on the weekends, people drink at the Mexican restaurants, kids are present at all of the above, and I can name lots more. Check DUI statistics for this county and tell me what percent are from this mud bog. -

How about all the subdivisions being built? How's that for the environment? Lots of trees died for those neighborhoods and countless animals were displaced. I see deer in our neighborhood all the time, they have nowhere to go with all the woods disappearing for subdivisions and shopping malls. I'd you really wanna go that route. -

.... I'm not getting involved in this mud bog war ... But just wanted to share that when I was a kid some of my fondest memories are riding 4 wheelers with my parents on the weekends. There used to be so many off road trails around the county to ride, but they all disappeared with all the subdivisions being built. We used to go ride near where the landfill is now and the old animal control building, you know where all the power lines are. Oh and down Electric Dam road lol. We used to ride dirt trails down to a creek, and then me & my brother would play in the creek and we w -
Temporary Assistance For Needy Families Basically, the monthly welfare check. I think its BS that people are using welfare money to go to Six Flags and stuff like that. We went to Six Flags last year for the first time in many years. We just usually can't afford it. The welfare folks have nicer cars than I do, nicer clothes, and nicer homes. HOW??!?!?? Edit to add = Well I will say 'some' of the welfare folks, because some of them do truly need the help. But there are many Section 8 folks in my neighborhood now due to all the foreclosures, and these folks dont look 'needy

Exactly. I am seeing news reports saying he was killed a week ago, that he was killed Friday, and he was killed Sunday. Heck I even saw one article that said he died in 2002 of kidney failure. But if we dare to question anything we are whacko conspiracists. LOL! And it is worrisome how the media is showing people partying and dancing over OBLs death. It is a *good thing he died, but remember how pissed those people got over cartoons of Allah several years back? I dont think the media should be portraying us in that light, it could be very dangerous for us. OBL was just one person, te

Yes thank you I meant killed, not captured. I am not doubting that he is dead. There's just a LOT of different stories floating around out there.

I just dont understand, there's so much conflicting info. Was he captured Friday or Sunday? Was he buried at sea or not?
