I don't necessarily agree with having a long engagement to have a successful marriage. I married my husband one month after I met him, yes ONE MONTH as in 30 days later. lol This September we celebrate our 12th anniversary and we are happier now more than ever. Really? Is this only for nursing students? I was told no SAT. Ugh I guess I need to check again. I really wanna avoid an SAT if possible. I took one in high school and dont want to do another, it was stressful. lol

West Georgia Tech is another one I checked into. My husband actually recommended that school because we might be moving to Villa Rica when our lease here is up later this year. It seems like a really decent school from what I could find on them. And yes their admissions process looks to be easy breezy. Ga Highlands doesnt require SAT for admissions either, and their nursing program has an excellent reputation, up there with KSU's reputation. It really IS hard to decide.

Yep but not just my opinion. As mentioned already, the majority of babies are off the boob/bottle by 2 years old. Mothers know their babies better than anybody and there will be exceptions but come on, by 2 years old most kids are ready to move on from nursing.

I don't think most people have an issue with the breastfeeding in public part of it. I don't find it offensive at all to see a mother breastfeeding her baby. Breastfeeding is for *infants. Two year olds are not infants and should not be breastfeeding.

Yep the movie Grown Ups is the first thing that comes to mind. There really is no excuse for a child to not be weaned off breastfeeding by age 2. All 3 of my kids were off the bottle by their first birthday. You need to start transitioning from boob/bottle to sippy cup around their first birthday. If you're consistent it will work. If not then buy a pacifier. Geez. Breastfeeding after age 2 is just gross and weird.

It looks really cute! I couldnt pull off a nose stud (my nose is too big lol), but I do like the little studs some people wear above their mouth and off to the side slightly. I would consider getting one of those.

He is claiming the 'rapture' is tomorrow and that the end of the world is October 21, 2011. I think someone is trying to get rich, but that is my opinion. Besides I've already signed up for post rapture looting on Facebook. LOL

Lol @ tater! Is he spending the food stamps or just receiving them? Just cause he is getting the food stamps doesn't mean he HAS to spend it. He could leave it on the card for somebody that needs it. No wonder our country is broke.

Yep I got mine this morning, I saw it on the news yesterday. Mine said free when I got it about 20 mins ago.

My parents got my letter jacket from Gables. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for. That jacket lasted well beyond my HS years. This was a red PCHS jacket with black leather sleeves BTW.

I haven't bought a battery, but I bought a charger for my daughter's Acer laptop from Amazon. It costed around $7, so of course I was afraid it was too good to be true. The charger worked just fine!! Just read the reviews from other buyer's on Amazon. If they have good feedback you should be fine. If the seller doesnt have at least a 90% positive rating, I would not buy from them.

I have been hearing that also. Some places are starting to hire MAs over LPNs because they are paid less but do pretty much the same job. But it takes as long to become an MA as it does to do nursing. Now copschick has me wondering if I should do RN LOL! UGH

No kidding!?! I should say there are more pre reqs which is what I mean it takes longer. From what I saw there's more sciences and stuff like that, and it looks like it would take about a year longer. If it is the same I would be all over RN in a minute. I would love to do Highlands but I want something quick so I can work!

Mainly because it is faster. The LPN program takes about a year and a half. The RN programs have a good bit more pre reqs. From what I have heard its fairly easy to bridge to RN from LPN, and almost all of those classes can be done online because as an LPN you will already have all the clinical stuff down.

Sheriff Gulledge is a really good guy. My grandparents know him. He is the type that will sit and talk with you out in public if you run into him. I like him.

Thanks I went ahead and called Chattahoochee and the lady told me that I can use my COMPASS that I took at another school and I dont have to take it again. And she said I do not have to do the SAT!. I have heard alot about Chattahoochee, both good and bad. Im still trying to decide what to do. I have heard it can take several tries to get into the nursing program. I don't have any transfer credits, I never did go to college after HS so I gotta do core classes and everything. I am just so ready to do this.

Does Georgia Highlands only offer RN for their nursing program? I want to go to school to be an LPN, and GA Highlands has a great reputation, but all I can find on their website is the RN program. I dont wanna do RN right now, but bridge it later possibly. I looked all over their website and couldnt find an LPN program there. Also if they do LPN is it offered at the Paulding Campus? I am also interested in Chattahoochee Tech but from what I've seen on the website you have to do an SAT before entrance. I already have a current COMPASS and I do NOT want to attempt an SAT, I've been out o

It has nothing to do with them being 'politicians'. Its just that a lot of people cheat, including politicians. And it has nothing to do with how pretty the wife may be. I worked at an office several years ago before my youngest son was born. Two of the men there were sleeping with the office manager. And BOTH of these men were married and both of their wives were WAY hotter than the office manager they were sleeping with. One of the men's wives was pregnant while this was going on. I was absolutely shocked when I found out about it, because they both came across as respectable family
