Praying for you my friend. John

Several things to have checked... • Price per therm. • Charges other than gas your marketer is charging. • Is your unit(s) operating correctly. • Filter(s) clean? • HEPA filter clean? • Weather Stripping and penatrations sealed properly. • Insulation. • Thermostat settings. • Recent changes to meter or equipment? • Gas dryer? Vent pipe clean? I'm sure an expert like Ragsdale or Rainwater would be equiped to check even more problem sources. I had a new Amana top of the line system put in 2 years ago.

We had Big Daddy burgers at Merle's BBQ.

When my driveway is full I park on my grass. If this offends anyone they are welcome to put in a concrete parking pad. Of course I want the new concrete to match the old and I want the edges filled in with topsoil and sod put in. I hate to be picky but I don't want anyone looking at the finished product and calling me a redneck.

2nd Local call offering free roof inspection this week
mojo413 replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I might be breaking a rule here... If so, I will edit the name. The local roofer in front of the Hiram Wal-Mart is Crist Roofing. When I found out how good a deal I was getting for the owner of the 2 properties I manage I had Crist inspect my 2 houses. I had NO damage and needed NO work. I had already had another local roofer wanting me to sign a contract with him assuring me I would not have to pay a deductable. Part of that contract required I file a claim with the insurers of both properties ( 2 propertys, 2 insurance companys). Thanks to Crist Roofing I have peace of mind knowing my -
2nd Local call offering free roof inspection this week

100% sure. Everything on top of the table. Roofing company cerified roofs were replaced directly to the insurer. Insurier paid owner directly. Owner paid roofing company directly. Complete open disclosure before, during and after the roofs were replaced. Actually the insurance carrier recommended we stay clear of the offers to sign over the rights to the roofing companys. The first 3 companys wanted a contract signed where payment would be made directly to them. They would have pocketed the extra money. They scam you into thinking you will be saved your deductable. I went with the honest -
2nd Local call offering free roof inspection this week

Beware of signing a contract where the company guarantees a new roof with you paying nothing out of pocket. I manage 2 properties that did have hail damage. 3 roofing companys did not want to quote the job. Instead they wanted to meet the adjuster and guarantee the deductable would be covered. I found 2 companys that would provide firm quotes. I did invite the one I liked best to meet with me and the adjuster. I did not give the adjuster the roofers price and I did not give the roofer the adjusters figures. I ended up getting both roofs replaced with 30 year roofs and cleared se -
I am excited this store is reopening. I go to the Hiram Home Depot knowing it's going to be a bad experience. I have a good idea of what the average hardware store stocks. I know before I go how I want to build a project. It never fails that the Hiram Home Depot will be out of stock on one simple item that will cause me to be forced to redesign my project. Welcome to New Hope Ace Hardware. We need you.

Does anyone here bank with the stagecoach bank? WF
mojo413 replied to SushiBoofay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We had three really bad experiences with SunTrust. I expect I am only a number with any of the big banks. We moved our accounts to First Choice Community Bank across the street from Hardy Ford. They have been wonderful to bank with. I have had a couple of merchant problems arise that was totally NOT their responsibility and they jumped on the problems and got them resolved quickly. I will bank with a local bank as long as there is still one left standing. -
I will most likely upset some folks here... Here's my take on taxes. The government is going to take it from somewhere. Either they take in more $ or cut services. I would like to see a more simplier, fairer way of accessing taxes. I did not realize none profits were exempt from sales tax. If they are, why? I buy several boxes Girl Scout cookies each year. I paid $3.50 per box this year. I will buy as many boxes next year even if they are $3.75. If we keep the state tax on food, then isn't Girl Scout cookies food? If they take the sales tax off food, then isn't Girl Scouts cooki

Sam's Used Appliances. Uptown Dallas just beyound the old court house, next to Dixie Cleaners, across the street from Joan's. He has used, scratch & dent and discontinued appliances. -
Someone once said "if you talk to yourself, you will always be in good company".
-
Sign me up for this. Maybe then this group will see how disrespectful they are. The supreme court did not have the guts to tell them they are just plain old disrespectful to grieving families.
-
I think what this group does is terrible. I also think the supreme court did a terrible thing to grieving families. What about the right of a grieving family to honor their fallen loved one with respect? I'll bet you if any of us protest one of these supreme court justice's family funeral we will all go to jail for distrubing the peace. I think a wise thing to do would have ruled the group must have co-ordinated with the funeral director to protest on a route not seen or heard by the grieving family.

Are you sure they were closed? We thought the same thing yesterday mornng till I got out to check the door. I am so glad I did. I assume the staff do not drive because there were no cars when we came by, the glass on the front is very dark and there is only a little open sign on the door. Great food, good service and wonderfully relaxing atmoshere and you got to want to eat there to enjoy the experiance. Best way I can describe it is "a hidden gem". I mentioned my observations to the guy there (owner I assume). He is not going pay for any advertising and he is not going to change a

We had breakfast here for the first time this morning. I could have eaten bacon till I bust. Biscuits & gravy and eggs cooked to order were my favorites. It kind of reminded me of going to Grandma's for breakfast many years ago. Next time we will drive 2 cars so others notice it's busy. With no cars on the side or out front, a little bittie Open sign and dark glass we almost passed by to go to McDonalds. Glad we stopped to check if the door was open. Of course marketing is not one of my strong points.

Yes Lins Garden in Villa Rica is by far the best. Little bit of a drive from East Paulding but worth the drive. We have friends coming in from out of town and this is where we take them.
-
Tacky to you... Within my close group of friends it's honoring my loved one with a display of affection.

Homes burning - Across from Paulding High School
mojo413 replied to Sugail's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I saw Pubby's request for coverage assistance yesterday. I did not read it as tacky. I saw it as an innovative method use to getting the news out. No one is whining about the copter from Atlanta flying over. Thank you Pubby. Paulding.com is my prime source of local news. -
I have always wanted a decal in the back window of my truck in memory of my Mama and daughter. Anyone know where I can get one?

Don't feel guilty. Hopefully together we will make some scumbag's life miserable someday. I feel were on the same sheet of music together on this topic. A thief is a thief. There are no degrees of stealing from an honest person.
-
I agree they are thieves. They are stealing space and weight that an honest person will have to pay for when the dumpster passes over the scale. It's the same thing as carrying stuff out of the young couples home feeling like they won the lottery because they got something for Nothing. Its a shame no one called 911 on either one or both set of thieves. A trip in handcuffs, night in jail, appearance in front of the judge and big fine might have taught them a lesson they would remember for the rest of their lives.

Good one Mrs. Jack Russell... When reading this I saw a picture of the bartender and servers gathered around a computer screen at the end of the bar looking at dinner menus And discussing what they are going to order while you are at the other end of the bar was screaming "I want my juice... Now". In all honesty... Thanks for the good humor... I needed it this morning.

Going out to eat tonight, I want a good steak in Paulding
mojo413 replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You got about 10 really good suggestions here. I suggest Taste of Dixie and because they are a Paulding.com member it's actually going to be a business meal for you so I think Pubby should pickup the tab.
