I heard this morning that some of the family members were calling the passenger's cell phones and that they were ringing. Some people even said that there families were showing up as "online" on a site called QQ (which sounds like it might be similar to FourSquare). Since the airplane made a 180 and was flying low - it is quite possible that the transponder got turned off and the plane actually landed somewhere although that does seem more like something out of a movie.

Has anyone ever bought one of those saving deals from Living Social? I know people who have bought from Groupon, but wasn't sure if there are any hidden catches to Living Social that I need to know about.

I've read on one of the news sites that two of the passports for two of the passengers are thought to be fake. It is rather strange that it "disappeared" right as it was suppose to change frequencies (it never "checked in" after the hand-off to the next controllers). Very sad situation.

They lost us as customers about a year ago. My MIL gave us a gift certificate for there one time for the hubby's birthday. A friend just has moved into a new house that has an old alarm system. It has started having problems and they don't know who to call. I was wondering who others would recommend. They would prefer a local company over a bigger company like ADT.

My Dad had a reaction to the flu shot twice. Once the reaction was so bad he was delirious and didn't know where he was. The other time, his temperature went way up and he did not feel well at all. One of the doctors on "The Doctors" said she got the flu after getting the shot and said that it was only 60% effective. I'm scared of the flu, but I'm scared of the shot too. We (hubby and I) have been debating about it for about a month now. I have such weird reactions to medications, I kind of worry about what might happen if I do have the shot.

Same thing happened to my Dad several years ago, but the store actually called him. The manager said that a big screen television had been ordered, but the man that showed up to pick it up didn't have any ID with him - just the credit card number written on a piece of paper! . The man tried to tell the manager he was picking it up for a "friend." Since it was a store account - the manager called my Dad and when my Dad said he hadn't ordered it - the manager called the police.
