Mike (A Friendly Geek) is! I swear if y'all ever need any help with your pc and you don't call him - then you're just plain goofy! This reminded me - Have any of y'all seen the movie Grand Theft Parsons? A movie based on the death of Gram Parsons? Watched it last night and it friggin cracked me up.

FWIW - NO adult KNOWS a student quite like another student KNOWS them! I know adults can be friends and spend time around their friend's child / children - but I am telling you, children DO NOT behave the same way around adults as they do at school. Unless any of y'all are actually freshmen at SPHS, you don't really know how this child acts at school. Just my 2 cents.

My original email was to corporate. They put the local guy up to calling me so they wouldn't have to deal with it. Since I now know that corporate will not do anything about it, I just won't give them anymore of my hard earned money. I guess that's the beauty in a Walgreen's or CVS on just about every corner. I have a choice.

I did! I kept my cool (believe it or not) and spoke to him in a very calm precise manner. I explained the situation. He apologized and said there wasn't anything he could do about this situation, but to let him know if he could do anything for me in the future. I told him Thank you but no thank you and in the future I would be wise enough not to spend my money with their company.

If y'all read my post about the prelit porch trees, y'all know I was TICKED OFF! I sent an email to Rite Aid corporate. They just had the manager of the Rockmart location call to tell me he was sorry. Of course he offered no solution or anything - he just called to say if he could help me with anything else to let him know! Can you f@*%ing believe that?!?!?!?! Why even bother to call? The situation still remains the same so what was the point? What a frigging joke!

I get this with weather change as well. When the barometric pressure changes I get severe headaches.

A friend of mine plays there on Thursday nights. He is a FANTASTIC bassist. Of course he did learn from one of the best - Danny Joe Southern.

We sent him cards, an autographed 8x10 and a cd. I sure hope he got them in time. This is sooooo sad. Just think, he gets to actually celebrate Jesus' birthday with him in person!

We laugh about / act out this commercial all the time! I gots me a party ring too - just like that one - cept it's got a different stone in it! Sho is bad! We also crack up about the Mr. Microphone one. "Hey good looking - we'll be back to pick yo up later!"

Oh believe me, we tried to get that Home Depot set too. She has just had the worst luck trying to get these things. I told her it must be a sign and if she ever does get them they'll probably have a short or something and catch the porch on fire! FWIW - I think they are cute too - I just said goofy because I am "up to here" with the dang tree thing right now!

She specifically wants these goofy little porch trees in urns. You know the prelit dealies. She saw some when Linens n Things was going out of business but they were kinda pricey so she thought she'd wait until they marked them down. Of course when she went back a couple of days later, they were all gone. Now it's like a challenge to try to get some. These trees are my "Moby Dick" ever elusive. We can find them, but not at a good price.

Saw that happen to my MIL years ago when Beanie Babies were all the rage. She and her friends had "schedules" of what beanie came out at what store on what day. Went with her one day and witnessed the employee "hiding" the specific one we were there for. Suffice it to say, a fit was pitched and a beanie was purchased!

IFyou choose to go this route, Fender makes a decent little starter amp called the Frontman.

At 4 different stores? Would that be irony, coincidence or what? Sent them an email, for all the good it will do. But just so I would feel better, I did tell them if the situation wasn't rectified, I would happily drive past 5 of their stores and spend more money just to do business with their competitors.
