To maintain everyone's anonymity, I won't ask you to actually post an answer in here. I have a final project due soon for my Human Diseases course. My subject is Anxiety Disorders. I have already lined up interviews with some women, but I need to interview a few guys too. I don't personally know any guys who suffer from anxiety disorders. If you have AD or know of a guy who does, please pm me or have them pm me. I won't have to meet with you in person, I can just pm you the list of questions and you can answer them and send em back to me. TIA, ~RG~

Aiden's parents made it safely to Jamaica where they have gone to scatter his ashes. They figured since that's where they got pregnant with him, that's where he should be. Y'all please continue to pray for their hearts to heal. They are really being strong right now, but I know it's still gonna be a long road for them.

I'd love to get into a battle of wits with you, but clearly you are unarmed. IF you decide you have the nerve to EVER say that to my face, PLEASE just name the time and place.

Ok - we'll teach our kids common sense if you promise to learn some common decency. The "short bus" comment was uncalled for. There are a plethera of ailments which would cause a person to ride the short bus. Not many of them would be for lack of common sense. My brother happens to ride one of those busses. He is a very intelligent individual and clearly more compassionate than you. His reasons for riding the short bus are physical impairments that he was born with and were completely beyond his control. Perhaps in the future, since you are so big on common sense, you can try this littl

I have just come from Aiden's memorial service. I must say it was a fitting tribute for such a sweet little angel. My niece was an absolute pillar of strength and grace when she spoke of her son. Everyone who spoke has my respect and admiration. I want to say thank you to all who came to honor his short little life. If you were traveling on 278 about 3:15 this afternoon and you saw a mass of green, yellow and black balloons, those were sent up to Aiden. Again, thank you to all who prayed and sent well wishes.

Well, about 60% of the "snow" at my house is now ice. I'm thinking (hoping) the same is gonna happen to our roads tonight and schools will be closed tomorrow

It's been checked out. I got bitten on 12-22. Went to the E.R. twice the following week because my eye was swollen shut and the side of my face looked like I got popped by a softball. They gave me I.V. antibiotics and I have been on 2 different kinds of antiobiotics this whole time. The swelling is gone now, but the black spot is still there. Just wondering how long it takes to go away.

How long did it take for the big black spot to go away?

I haven't watched AMC for a few years. I had to draw the line because I was watching 3 - 4 hours of soap operas everyday. Now I only watch GH. I do remember most of the AMC characters though. So are you saying that Erica and Ryan are an "item" now? If so, that is soooooo eeeeeewwwww - she is old enough to be his granny. YUK BUTT

Clearly it offends the most elite of the Pcom connoisseurs.

Yeah-ummmm - I didn't see another topic when I first started out with this one. However; I am on my laptop with aircard today so it's moving really slow. Sure didn't intend to be redundant or monotonous. Just trying to keep people informed since everyone seems to have been so inquisitive about this subject for the past two days.

Damn girl, talk about quoting verbatim

Paulding Schools will release at normal times today. Elementary ASP programs are still to be open as of now. Any change in that will be decided by 1 pm today. After school / extra curricular / practices etc. are cancelled for today.

She sure does. They all do. I admire their strength.

Ditto that for me too. :::cursingthosedangextrapounds:::

Thanks D - I swear I think I have cried til there are no more tears and then more tears come. The thing is, we all know about Aiden, but he is just one of many many precious babies that are battling this evil disease. It makes you wonder what society is exposing these babies to for this to be "running rampant" amongst our youth. There has to be some sort of common denominator. I just hate for anyone to have to suffer through this loss. I'm angry and sad and confused all at the same time.
-
It is very sad indeed. Melanie, Jason and Diane are very strong people by nature, but they are all going to need as many prayers as they can get to try to make it through this. On the one hand they are relieved that Aiden is no longer suffering, but then of course they hate to let him go. It is just sooo sooooo sooooo sad.

I guess we may never know. I keep hoping another network will pick it up. Fingers crossed.

I hate today. I already miss Lil RaceGirl so bad I could cry (well, maybe I did cry just a little) I always hate it when she goes back from break. The first day of school every year is absolutely the most miserable day of the year for me. I have tons of stuff I could / should be doing right now, but I'm too depressed to do much more than throw another log on the fire and watch the clock.

The "crackopractor" I used to go to said he uses one pretty regularly.

I was wondering about that when I heard about Lana. We are going on the Skynyrd Cruise again in a couple of weeks and I wondered if Brit would be with them. I am sending up prayers for Lana and telling everyone else I know to do the same. I sure will miss her smiley little face on the boat this year. She is tooooo cute.

I watched last night's episode this am. I got the feeling that they "skipped" an episode or two since they are cancelling. I was a little lost on a couple of things, but I caught up quickly. I think I read the last episode will air on 1-13-10 but I'm not sure about that. I'm gonna miss it dangit. Maybe another network will pick it up because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this show.

I had to go to the E.R. a few days ago for a spider bite near my eye. I was told by the PA to keep warm compresses on it because my eye was swollen shut. I just found out online yesterday that applying heat to a spider bite causes a more rapid tissue destruction. Now I have an area at the bite site that appears to be necrosis. Go figure.
