I just came thought the intersection of Nebo Rd and 61 and a tractor and it's trailer ran off in the ditch at the 4 way. AVIOD THE AREA. No wrecker or police are here yet. It didn't look like anyone in the rig was hurt.

My dad lives in Arkansas....I go to see him and him alone. If anyone else wants to drive up to visit....come on. But my dad is 76 and his health has been bad the last 5 years. My sister lives an hour from him and bitches and gripes if she has to drive up there to see me...so I just say the hell with it...and stay and hang out with my daddy. I try to go at Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and sometimes at Christmas if I don't go at T-day, and if the bf is visiting his daughter out of state. I have surprised him and showed up for Father's Day weekend.

The picture don't do it justice. I was floored when I saw it in person last night. I am one happy camper!! It was so much fun meeting her last night. She got to meet my crew at the gym and laugh and have a litte fun with us.

I recently contacted Trixie's Treasures and Embroidery to design some shirts for the gym where I am a member. She is AMAZING! Her work is awesome and I will gladly do business with her again. Foster parents are in court the same amount of time or more than a CASA volunteer. What I do is directly for the benefit of the child. My one and only objective is the child.

You should look into becoming a C.A.S.A. volunteer before you decide to be a foster parent. I am a volunteer here in Paulding and I love it. It's hard being a foster parent...but rewarding and I know you won't be in it for the money.

I was doing some ecology work along Hwy 92 last week in the woods... and I took a tick back to the truck with me.. I felt it crawling on the back of my shoulder and neck...and it wasn't small. I have gotten one off my shirt the week before....and dang if yesterday the bf didn't come in the room and show me what was crawling on his shirt.......

What she was doing is no different than when we was kids and went to the creek and made rope swings. We even had ziplines across the creeks.... nothing fancy... Just a line and an old bicycle handle bar. Praying for this girl and her family. I have a co-worker that had the exact same bacteria infection when she was a Sr. in high school. She got cut on a canoe. Mom rushed her to the ER and she got stitches and AB's. But the wound wasn't cleaned well enough and the infection started. She was lucky, but she spent 10 days in UAB hospital
