Crossing the center line because of being on a sheet of ice seems completely different from the other "willful" violations. As far as the DA covering for the DOT? Really doesn't make sense. It could have something to do with the county insurance, though. It will be interesting to see where this goes. My guess is that she pleas to a much lessor offense, to spare the expense of a trial.

It appears that there was no grand jury indictment. It appears that there were no drugs or alcohol involved. It appears that county contractors have at least the appearance of some blame. Unless there's a lot more to this than meets the eye, I predict a jury is going to issue a slap-down to the DA's office.

I'm curious about what you should never put in your will.

I have a chronic illness. Sometimes it's all I can do to get to the store, get my stuff, get back home and store it, then I have to crash for several hours. I promise to be nice on good days and not be ugly to you ever but you guys should realize, too, that not everyone who comes through your line is always up for chitchat. How you bag my stuff is up to you, I could care less and will never fuss about it.

Yea there's at least one guy still in jail for throwing paper...allegedly throwing paper. No bond.

I think that taking kids to jail and charging them with disorderly conduct and not giving them bond for at least two days for alledgely throwing paper on the gym floor is a bit much. But hey, I guess that's how they roll at East!

Both of my parents went to UT. I had to go to a different college because my grades were not good enough to get in UT due to extreme laziness in high school. However, I was brainwashed as a young child to think that my blood really was orange. That is not something one can successfully recover from, therefore I will always be a UT fan.

I was reading the AJC obits today. This one stuck me: Stephanie Ann Paulk, 38: Lawyer, poet and performer. She is described as "quirky" One of her short writings: "Momentarily lucid, an insane king wonders if delusions of grandeur are as good as the real thing. They are actually better." I love that quote!

I actually found a friend who had a 8mm camera that had a USB cable. So I was able to borrow it and download all my 8mm movies into windows moviemaker. It was in real time so it was quite a project but was worth it! Ask your friends, you might get lucky like I did.

I remember, one night last week, Caped Crusader started a thread, something like, look at the stars, they are so beautiful tonight. Maybe Keith thought the same and went on a little unplanned excursion, and got lost. Prayers that they find him soon.

5th quarter is to give the younger kids some field experience, it's really not about making sure everyone gets a chance to play. Just fyi. It's been that way a long, long time.
