  1. Is there a way for the service providers to check the IP address they are using? With wi-fi or other internet access there is a number associated with the customer's location. Maybe call Itunes and other online companies you suspect they've accessed and ask them to provide the IP address. There is probably a better way to explain this and maybe someone else will.
  2. How much time have you spent talking to Paulette?
  3. By voting Democrat you will be handing the keys to the Democrats and allowing them to drive for the next 10 years. Please consider that who you put into statewide office as your representative and governor will be involved in the redistricting of Congressional districts based on the recent census. I cannot just hand that power over to the Democrats. It's more than a matter of perceived lack of integrity. http://www.bipac.net/page.asp?chk=D3AKkzC9DIE&g=afpa&content=2010_Congressional_Redistricting&parent=BIPAC "On December 31, 2010, the President receives the Census popu
  4. LOL. Nor am I wowed by their far left agenda. I will never voluntarily give any sort of control over my life, let alone four years as leader of the State of Georgia, to a Democrat. Why would I give that kind of a power to a man who believes government is the answer to every conceivable ill of mankind and supports the current Obama administration? I won't. In the interest of full disclosure, I am not a Paulding resident. However, I am a registered voter in the State of Georgia and never miss an opportunity to cast my vote.
  5. Best wishes to your hubby, you, and family. Like others have said, when there are so many tasks to do, it is best to pick one smaller one and complete it. It will feel good to check something off a list. You'll feel energized to move on to the next item.
  6. I don't see where this proves anything other than the fact that food will dry out. There are so many unaddressed variable factors in this "experiment" that it just doesn't mean anything more than what the artist set out to do...disprove her friend who believed "that any burger would mold or rot within two or three days of being left on a counter." This isn't raw meat sitting out which is probably more likely to attract microbes and bugs because of the available moisture content. So, it's interesting in a fun sort of way but not worthy as proof of the inferiority of McDonald's food products.
  7. Just used some of this for the first time two weeks ago to make green tea cookies and added it to vanilla ice cream to turn it green. It was for a Japanese themed school project. Bought a small can at an Oriental store in Marietta for $5.99. It didn't add a lot of flavor, just a little but it did make everything a beautiful shade of green.
  8. My first thought...simply "Andy and Otis".
  9. A Power of Attorney is generally granted by the person giving power (your brother) to someone else. Is he mentally capable of making the decision to give you POA in the eyes of the law? Also, you may need a separate document for health care decisions. It may be that you'll need to go to court to get power over his affairs to make finanacial or health care decisions for him. Good luck to you and prayers for a good recovery for your brother.
  10. This sounds just like what Sprint did to us. We signed up in April and received a 20% coporate discount on all four lines. This summer they decide to suspend the corporate discount on any lines beyond the first two! So, they just go and make a change to the plan but won't let people out of their contracts. It apparently doesn't matter to them that they have many, many upset customers. When it's time to renew I'll be shopping around.
  11. Hooray! Let him know a lot of people were and are concerned for him. We all want him to be happy and feel accepted. Good luck to all of you.
  12. First, I do NOT know what the law read in 1999 (or 1998) but I don't know why anyone would expect me to know it since I am not the one that used it as a source of information. Second, my point is simply that information should be accurate and verified when posted by anyone who is attempting to sway another's opinion about a third party.
  13. Is there a date for this particular document? I'm assuming you researched it and that this definition of the Pretrail Diversion program was in effect exactly as stated in 1998. Correct? I'm asking to make sure I'm comparing apples to apples and not apples to oranges, even though, as a restident of Cobb, I don't have a dog in this fight.
  14. Any info on the woman? Car, last known address, relatives, schools, photo, arrests, anything that might be a clue about her? I'll search online but need a little more info to get started.
  15. That's tough to see. I blew them up in Photoshop but they get so pixelated that it's difficult to make out much detail. From what I could see he's wearing either a dark blue or purple shirt, long shorts with big pockets on the sides, dark sports-style shoes that come up to his ankle. Would be good to have high resolution photos to search for more.
  16. I'm looking at having some dental work done including a dental implant to replace a missing tooth. Have you had this done in the last few years? What was your experience? Are you happy you chose that over other options? Did a dentist or oral surgeon do the work? Thanks for your input!

    salsa

I'll consider adding a splash of vinegar to my salsa...I've never done it before and never thought it was needed. But, it's good to experiment. The only jarred salsa I like is Arriba which has gotten to be over $4.50 a jar at Walmart and that is just too much money when I can make a huge batch for just a little more and it tastes much fresher.
  18. http://www.facebook.com/#!/friends/?id=1043248429 The kid's got quite a few friends at Hiram High School.
  19. You could check with The 7 Venue in Douglasville. It is an all ages music venue that has concerts many nights per week including Sundays. It is about 3 miles from Arbor Place mall. From the looks of the boy I'd say it's a place he might go. Lots of metal/hardcore/screamo bands play there. Not sure who played there last night. The management team is VERY nice and would be helpful, I'm sure. You might not reach someone there until late in the day. GOOD LUCK! http://www.the7venue.com/contact.html The 7 Venue 5975 A Fairburn Road Douglasville, GA 30135 (770) 942-4224
  20. Congrats to Squiggle for coming up with "Southern Nights Karaoke". When I first read the post I thought you named the company "Squiggle" and thought, "What the heck kind of name is that for a karaoke business?" Then I read it again and clicked the link. Good luck to you, Mark, in your new venture.
  21. That one kitty cat deserves a can of tuna for dinner since she is the one that alerted you to where the noise was.

    salsa

3 14 oz (?) cans of petite diced tomatoes drained one medium to large onion diced in pieces similar to size of tomatoes one clove of garlic (mashed with side of knife and chopped finely then mashed some more, this really needs to be tiny) (just to be clear...a clove is one piece of garlic peeled off the bigger bunch) one fresh jalapeno pepper (remove seeds) and chop finely one can of Bush's black beans (rinsed and drained) one small can of white shoepeg corn one chipotle pepper chopped finely a few good shakes of chili pepper and paprika a dash or two of salt and pepper (to your likin
  23. I am finally seeing all the ad boxes in a column on the left. Right now each is for Paulding.com but I suspect Pubby is selling advertising space and soon these will be filled with Commerce Member advertisements. Capitalism at work.
  24. Oh come on...I don't have a problem with another mom taking care of this right then and there.
