Like many on here the words were not said but there was never a doubt the love was there when I was growing up. YEP I use this one too with the exception of 1 cup of sugar. It's easier to remember 1-1-1. LOL. I heat the peaches before pouring in. I also sprinkle sugar/cinnamon on top. When served we top with either whip cream or ice cream - whichever we have on hand. DELISH!

Yes the sirens went off. There is one near our house. We were watching the Braves game and when we heard it switched to local news. But, no warnings were issued for Paulding. Bless your heart! I am so sorry about your husband's uncle and I totally agree with your decision NOT to tell him. It will be hard enough to hear the news when he is home and can be consoled by you. His job is too dangerous to have any distraction at all. Thoughts and prayers are with your family and with your husband and his co-workers out in this terrible weather.

High winds knocked several of DH's flowers off the ledge. Lots of wind, rain, thunder and lightening. Thundering again now @ 8:24.

Once again I have to publicly say THANK YOU to Cedarcrest PC. Every time I have needed Nick he has been there to come to my rescue. This time I dealt with Sean on here and he was just as quick to resolve my problem and easy to deal with. THANKS, Sean for helping save what little sanity I have left!!! :clapping:

Not on the inexpensive side but we used to to go to PCB just to eat at Angelo's Steak House let the kids ride some go-carts and do some swimming. Of course we were only 3 hrs away so it wasn't that big of a deal. Still never go to PCB without going to Angelo's. YUMMMMM. When we were down there 2 years ago we tried and tried to find Hunt's because of all the recommendations on here. Never did find it.

TRUE. But, I always have a glass of tea in my hand so when the to-go cup is styrofoam I take it. I've even been known to fill it up with more tea when I get home bc it keeps the tea colder. I'm bad, I know.

Many restaurants still use Styrofoam to-go cups. In the story on ABC it was cups shown in the clip.

I have that happen occasionally too. I can remember specific instances it happened YEARS ago - I was so terrified it left a lasting memory. VERY SCARY!!!

DS had night terrors when he was a toddler. His eyes would be open and you would think he was awake. But, he would be screaming for me - while I am holding him, talking to him - and he had no idea I was there. It was very difficult to wake him up he would be in such a deep sleep. It was terrifying for all of us but he finally outgrew them. I hope your dr is able to help you put an end to what you are experiencing. Sounds terrifying!!
