THANK Y'all so much. We will be going to the airport from Camp Creek Parkway and it sounds pretty easy. I appreciate the tip about the door number. I hadn't thought about that but it will help to know which one he comes out of.

Whatever the problem is not being able to post pics does this also effect not being able to use emotions, bold, underline, color, etc, etc????

The BOE did an excellent job and made the best choice of what was being considered. I really like how they considered what was in the best interest of everyone and didn't just follow suit of other Counties. The students don't need all those early release days anyway.

I have been told there is a parking lot at Hartsfield-Jackson referred as a "cell phone lot". You can park there and wait for a passenger flying in to call when they are ready to be picked up at the front. There is little pr no cost to park in this lot. Does anyone know about it and where it is? Wade is flying in at 11:00 tonight after a week in NYC. TIA for any info or suggestions.

They do have great chips the BEST of anywhere. We go there often with the free appetizer coupon and will get the queso dip that also comes with the chips and salsa. That served with the 3 appetizer combo makes for a good inexpensive meal for the 2 of us.

Was it the quick clearance meat? If you can catch it you can really get some savings. DD used to go every morning about 8:30 after dropping the kids off at school and would get some unbelievable deals. For example one trip she got 6 lb of ground beef for $3.88 and a 2 lb chuck roast for $4.00.

I saw this on FB and thought some people looking for jobs might be interested. 11Alive Need a job? Pike Nurseries, The Home Depot and Krispy Kreme have announced they are hiring. Click the link for details and SHARE with those you know looking for work! http://on.11alive.com/1cvEoCO

Very simple. Salt, pepper and cover with large can of cream of mushroom soup. Our DD recently asked how to cook one and was surprised how good it was.

OMGosh. That $25 "might" last me 3 days. -
I have NO doubt. The ratings from curiosity of the first night dropped a BUNCH last night. I expect that to be the norm.

That plus an explanation WHY you are wanting to rid of it??

Fallon and his fans can use that as an excuse, BUT........Jay Leno had the same LOUSY Primetime lead-in shows and he maintained the #1 slot for years. Actually the lousy NBC primetime shows became a constant source for Leno's monologue jokes. MUCH to the dismay to the higher ups at NBC who helped make the decision to push him out. As I have said WTHeck fires someone who is #1????
-
Jay may have "left" but he wasn't given a choice by NBC. They had an agenda and it did not include him. IF he had not "left" he would have been fired to make room for Fallon to attract the younger audience. Jay would have his take of another job (except for CBS that Letterman has locked) but he has made it clear he isn't interested. That may change after he has been away for a few months.

It is my understanding she was NOT making a speech or announcement to the media. She was speaking at a LGBT Conference and the media happened to cover it. Big difference.
-
NOPE. Not interested. WHO fires someone when they are #1???? NBC is a slow learner not learning from the last diabolical. They claimed the move was made to draw a younger audience. But, they forgot it is the OLDER audience that is at home, in bed and watching TV at 11:30PM. I'll be interested to hear what Fallon's ratings were last night.

Neither can I. Although BBQ sounds awfully good but we couldn't get there if we wanted to.

Wonder who will be the 3rd. It ALWAYS happens in 3's.

One of the Ass't managers at DH's ACE in Buckhead has spent many a night in the store over the years. Anytime a threat of bad weather he is there for the duration. He is salary so no monetary plus and not even a Thank You from the owner. Sad thing is he doesn't have a life, no family and sees himself as a martyr. He will tell everyone about it until the next weather event.

I love red velvet anything but for it to be a moist recipe is the key. Typically buttermilk and vinegar are needed. BUT, Kroger has really great red velvet cupcakes in their chilled section. Better than any I've gotten from anywhere.....including expensive bakeries. They are small and come with or without cream cheese centers. Not very romantic but a lot easier and guaranteed good!!!

Fifty Years Ago - Are you old enough to remember?
mom2dachs replied to Sugail's topic in RECENT TOPICS
YES I remember. I was among the masses of screaming young girls. I also remember going to see "A Hard Day's Night" at the movie theater with my friends to celebrate one friends 8th birthday. We all had our "boyfriend" and Paul was mine. He was SOOOOOO CUTE. LOL I will always remember the murder of John Lennon, too. I was pregnant and was going to be induced on Dec. 9th. That morning when I got settled in labor/delivery and turned on The Today Show it was Breaking News. My daughter was born that evening. Loving this celebration!! Great music and great memories.
