  1. Looking at photos on TV it appears to be upright, not flipped over.
  2. I keep up with Tripp on FB and LOVE the photo of him with his therapist. Some people are determined to find the negative in everything and turn the good hearts of people into something evil. They are to be pitied as they must live a miserable life to not be able to rejoice in small victories of others.
  3. I use the 1 Cup recipe too and when almost done I sprinkle the top with sugar/cinnamon. Actually made it last night. I use a pan that my Momma used to make cobblers in and it is a round pewter looking pan. No where near a 13x9 size. It was YUMMM YUMMM GOOD!!
  4. Sausage Gravy with homemade biscuits Cheese grits
  5. VERY TRUE! He has said after being around people from other countries and cultures he can see how different and in many cases backwards the US is. He will definitely come home a changed person. YES his Dad and I are VERY proud!! All the hard work he has put in his career has led to his dream coming true. He has worked hard and paid his dues for this opportunity.
  6. It made me cold looking at it too!! At the last minute I pulled that Alabama beanie out of inventory and stuck it in the last Care Package we sent him. Seems to have come in handy!! Yes, he is definitely having the time of his life. THANK YOU. I was hoping folks would. THANK YA, Lady!!! YES IT IS! He is Blessed. Ahhhhh......THANK YOU!! Wade is a great kid/man and has stayed focus to living his dream. It is already changing him. He doesn't talk like the kid that left here over two months ago. So much more mature.
  7. That is one I'd still like to try along with his lasagna. Being a member of the supper club we have had many of Surpip's dishes. Although our taste buds are used to different style foods and we cook quite differently what we have ordered we have enjoyed! And always LOVE the Baguettes!!
  8. I have had difficulty posting photos from Wade's Journey because of them being too large. Thought I'd try again. This is a Winter Wonderland cut into the ice where Wade and some of his castmates visited last night. This was in Helsinki Finland and he is now headed back to Russia. He said they had so much fun and it was absolutely beautiful!!!! A LOT different from Paulding County, GA. I have lots of beautiful and amazing photos from his stops all over the other side of the world.
  9. YES: Summer rates are effective June 1st - October 31st. This is from myusage.com page where we monitor our pre-pay account with Greystone. I LOVE IT!! No shock when opening the monthly bill and can pay on it as money is available. However little or more is in the bank when I want/need to pay on it.
  10. Through tears and chills I am posting this video. SOOOOOO pitiful yet it has a happy ending. I present to you the story of Bethany: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/31/bethany-hope-for-paws_n_3368559.html?utm_hp_ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false
  11. I agree 110%!! I miss the RT salad of "old". OMGOSH ~ YES it was!!! About 35 years ago we would drive from Heflin, AL to Birmingham, AL just to eat at Steak and Ale. The BEST salad bar EVER. And, the prime rib was !! ME TOO!! Still get one when go to the Sonny's on Cobb Pkwy. As far as the Hickory Hut....when we moved here in 1996 we heard SOOOOO much about this place. Went one time....the LAST time, too!!! YES it is........IF it is fresh!!! And, that is hit and miss. I've had it several times with their new Wedge Salad and it was good. On the contrary I've gotten it sev
  12. Now THAT is a good salad. But, I'd have to have EXTRA tomatoes, omit the beets and cottage cheese by adding shredded Colby Jack cheese. (There, you have my order. )
  13. Had steak night before last and was just wanting a GOOD salad without having to drive far. This is one of those night I REALLLLLLYYYYY wish David still had the Dugout open.I LOVED his Chef Salad (especially when Elizabeth made it - at David's suggestion) with homemade ranch and DH coulda had his cheeseburger he LOVED!!
  14. I agree about J&N!!! Whew can be pricey! Obviously I lead a very sheltered life. Had steak night before last and was just wanting a GOOD salad without having to drive far.
  15. I love the California salad (not sure that is what it is called there) and their new Wedge Salad with French Onion Soup. I ended up getting the Zaxby's House zalad with fried chicken. Was good but just did not hit the spot. Half of it is in the frig. I am impatiently waiting for them to return their Zenzation Zalad. One of my all time FAV salads!!! THANKS for all the suggestions!
  16. BUT....then that requires I have to cut the cucumber, tomato, grate the cheese, etc, etc, etc. Too much trouble for tonight.
  17. I love that salad at O'Charley's but forgot all about it and their carry out. I've been wanting to try that Wendy's salad but we don't do the Dallas location anymore. (the one that is convenient to us ) We have made these for lunch or picked up late afternoon for dinner later. I didn't know they keep it open during the evenings? There used to be a Souper Salad over at the intersection of Austell Road/East-West Connector and it was very good. I wish we had something similar to that for a make and go kinda place.
  18. I have tried several times over the past months to register to be a "Rodney's Regular" to get your newsletter but have never been able to get it to go through?
  19. They aren't just stealing they are getting away with almost a MILLION $$ worth of Rolex watches. These guys are more than just THUGS, too. They knew exactly where to go, what to do and where to get what they wanted and OUT the door in mere seconds DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. This has to be a very well oiled machine with contacts out of state ready to launder this expensive merchandise. I am sorry the theft in Villa Rica ended with the death of a business man, someone's child, father, brother, etc.
  20. I have a ton of photos to post from Wade's journey. When I tried to post them I got an error message they were too large. I haven't had time to resize but am going to try to post this pic. He has s 3 day port stay in St. Petersburg, Russia and this is what he posted on FB this AM.I will eventually catch everyone up on his travels. Thanks again for everyone's support!! ETA: YAY.......IT WORKED!!
  21. I had wondered the same thing. We pass it just about ever day and usually multiple times. The crowd/parking lot has been noticeably WAY down since the low score. I am glad to hear y'all have been when the parking lot was full and they were busy. We have only been one time and that was before the failing health dept grade. During that visit the food was excellent as was the service.
  22. Sad for all involved. What is completely ridiculous is WHY have only 22 pair available?? That was asking for trouble IMO.
  23. I can fold a fitted sheet but I can honestly say of all things I've been called throughout my life (let your imagination roam after 18 years with DHR/DFCS. ) witch is not one of them. Now change the first letter and you'd be absolutely correct.
