Where I grew up my name was pronounced KAY-RENNNN. There was a girl several years older than me whose name was Caron. I liked it better and even would sign my elementary school papers that way. But, Momma told me that wasn't my name and I stopped. It is funny bc when I went to college I would correct people who did not prounance my name "right". LOL. At some point I accepted it the way people wanted to say it. But, even now if someone calls and DH happens to answer the phone and they ask for KAY-RENNNN when I ask who it is, he responds. "I don't know but it is someone from Heflin." Other

Personally I think the top 2 will be Big Mike and Crystal with the winner being Crystal. The Judges have been bonkers over Crystal from the beginning and she has a unqiue sound with a lot of talent. I really like Mike but I just cannot see the Producers letting a guy win three years in a row. Just the way I see it playing out.

I was sorta surprised Aaron did not get voted off. I like him and he is a good kid but I have to say if all I'd ever heard of him was on Idol I would NOT be impressed!! I am really glad Todrick got voted off - he screwed over a lot of people and made a lot of money off innocent people who trusted him. But, I really thought Katie would go home before Lilly, although her performance this week was not her best.

YEP I agree. Big Mike is AWESOME and the judges LOVE Crystal. I have heard Aaron sing for years and he is a good singer. I think it would have benefited him to have waited another year.

The Briarpatch Weekly Special: Grilled Pork Chop I had baked potato and salad. DH had FF and cole slaw. We missed our typical grocery shopping day on Sunday so will be going tomorrow on DH off day. In the meantime, not doing much cooking around here.

I went back and looked at them. But, I am still confused. Do those download to my laptop or to a kindle? Also, what does "Auto-delivered wirelessly" mean? I am sorry to be so ignorant about all of this!!! Thanks again for everyone's help!

His agent was talking on CNN and said last night he asked his mom to lay down with him bc he wasn't feeling well. She did and he soon told her he was having trouble breathing. She told him to lay on his side and it got better. Later he was walking around the room and it woke her up. He then collapsed. The agent was speculating it was a reaction between prescription adn OTC drugs. Just relaying what the agent said - doing his job. SAD regardless of the circumstances.

I am excited at the prospect of being able to read a book again and will definitely look into all of these options. I really appreciate the help! No, I haven't. Is she similar to MHC???? I love the way her chapters are really short - her style of writing keeps my interest plus I love the mystery/suspense! Unfortunately the problem isn't with my eyes and reading glasses do not help. ME TOO!!! It is such a good show and I have really been disappointed in Idol this year. But, I'd rather wait and watch NCIS when DH is home. We really like NCIS: Los Angeles and The Good Wife, too.

I was not going to watch it but since DH is not home I decided to go ahead and DVR NCIS and watch it. Siobhan was AWESOME.....she put so much feeling in it. I think that first girl (she reminds me of Katie Holmes) is gonna be history.

I have a dear friend whose husband had a cyber affair and it had absolutely nothing to do with FB. The affair was carried on via emails and was devastating to my friend. She honestly did not think it would have hurt any worse IF it had been physical. The emotional deceit was heart-breaking. That was several years ago and they were able to get beyond it to continue to be married. BUT......... I have reconnected with MANY, MANY friends from HS and college that I had lost contact with YEARS ago. I LOVE IT!!!! But, I am NOT interested in having a cyber affair (or any other kind) with ANYONE!
