  1. I'm not there today, but thank you, that is awfully nice of you! I think I'll run down to Brooke's, it's right around the corner!
  2. Darn it! I forgot to pick one up while I was out ... do I load the kids back up and grab one at Brooke's? Maybe more coffee will motivate me to go back out.
  3. I have mixed feelings about who should be able to post the info, but realistically, this is the internets, nothing is sacred. What I do know is that if someone does feel the need to post about it, have the information correct. When my step-dad passed over two years ago, someone posted it on here the day after he died and of course all sorts of stories started. I was beyond angry, while my family was grieving, people on Pcom were going back and forth about him ... that is actually how I became a member of Pcom. I started an account to get on here and set the story straight You would think he d
  4. Do you think so? No matter what, you will never make everyone happy, it's just not possible. You have to make the best choices for your business. I don't get out much without my kids, so I don't get to enjoy adult only atmospheres but I wish this business owner the best of luck.
  5. Green light! Green light! I am so looking forward to this one!
  6. Actually, I think the point trying to be made is that no matter what your perception of an upstanding citizen is, you don't know the facts of this situation. You are making an ASSumption, which is quite common on Pcom. You've never met the man ... you read an article and you immediately posted that he was shot ... when in fact he was beaten, then you said he was a patron, when he was a co-owner. You seem to be one of the many who like to read a few sentences, manipulate the story, and post your version. I think what you are doing sucks but that doesn't change the matter ... so have fun with th
  7. First, way to go on the stereotype, "The gangsta thug, big man, lifestyle." Because we all know conservative dudes in suits aren't watching the pretty ladies dance on a regular basis ... Second, my husband is only able to tuck our children into bed 2 out of the 7 nights during the week because he spends the other 5 nights busting his a$$ at work ... you know, to provide for us and stuff Give me a break with the high and mighty attitude.
  8. I've got chili in the slower cooker and I'll make some cornbread later
  9. Super cool design, it's nice to see something different for a change! It hurts, but everyone survives If I had a nickel for every foot that I've tattooed, I'd be retired. So yeah, you've had kids, you'll do fine!
  10. HA! They change their minds every other day ... I will worry about their costumes on October 29th We usually do a lot of the costumes ourselves instead of buying ones so I'm not worried about it ... Bella did mention she wanted to be a cop but she said she would need real donuts to go along with the costume So if you see a tattooed mom with a stroller, an 8 year old, and a 5 year old cop with a box of Dunkin Donuts, you'll know who it is
  11. Good morning Kel! Morning Pcom ~ Today is lots of coffee & lots of cleaning Hey Connie, I miss you
  12. Yeah, it seemed like as soon as I went on maternity leave, everything went nuts ... and there was only so much I could do, now I can do more to help!
  13. No, thank goodness ... that has been a nightmare to say the very least. The problem is that the recent flood has interfered with the already ongoing construction at her house. I just got off the phone with her, and everything seems to be back on track with the contractors to resume tomorrow so she should be back to work then.
