my husband was just talking about the propane generators, he was talking to cobb emc worker yesterday and that is what they use for back up.

no, not buying valentine. if we can get out we may go grab something to eat and that will be it.

flashlights ready here, and I also have a land line phone not cordless,(yes we still have a land line) that i will plug in incase the power goes out, and our cordless phones die.

I read that Pete passed away on saturday... he was a good man. prayers for his family...

we use Thompson propane, last week their gas was 3.53 a gallon, and only delivering 75 gallons. the lady told me that the main place were the gas comes from was shut down, because of the weather. and they could not get there to get any, so that was why they were limited to 75 gallons. they wanted to make sure everyone was getting some gas to help through the cold week. I do not like Hertiage... never have...

I highly doubt they will take spring break, they may add a few hours here and there on to each day, or take the half days away and let those be the make up days. If they will send the wavier in the days may not have to be made up at all, since this was a state of ER. Taking the half days and making them a whole day makes more sense, since the kids are already there, that would save on fuel ect... the letter did say if required, so they may be trying for the wavier, which that is what the letter sounds like to me.
