hwy 61 is backed up with traffic my husband is stuck there right now he just called he is close to pchs

due west/hwy 92 bus stuck

bus driver is diabetic sugar has gotten low,

bill carruth/nebo bus stuck citizens trying to help the deputies with the buses traffic light out at 92/278

bus has been stuck for 4 hours, slid back and hit another bus. some damage..... bus stuck at hwy 61 and paul akiens road deputies helping push cars out of road, a lot of schools already closed for tomorrow

wonderful post..... if anyone gets stranded on nebo close to the hwy 61 end i am here if you need to come in and get warm or go to the bathroom and I have food and toilet paper..

if anyone is coming up nebo toward hwy 61 and you see a little blue car pulled over next to the big metal building that does transmission work, please stop and get her that is my aunt, she has been trying to get home since 12 from bill carruth she lives on nebo close to hwy 61 end my husband is just now leaving work from cobb/due west road he is gonna go by that way to try to get her if he can not get her, we will get the 4 wheeler out and go get her.

Lowrider... you made a good point.. you posted about the weather sunday, so if we all knew about the bad weather coming in on sunday, then the BOE should have been paying close attention. the weather stations have been talking about this since really last week. I am usually one of the first ones to give the BOE a pass.. However..... not this time. they listend (or should have been listening) to the same weather we have been, and we all knew it was coming. The scanner is going crazy with stuck buses, deputies can not get to wrecks and people that are hurt becasue they are busy stuck in

bus drivers that are running late are asking bus barn to call parents and let them know bus at union stuck, wow dekalb county does look like snow jam all of those 18 wheelers are stuck on the exit ramps and traffic is backed up for miles

there were some buses stuck and few wrecks i have not heard anything in the few minutes

community center in hiram has opened for anyone that is stranded

pumpkin vine creek buses stuck, traffic back up every which a way if you have your ID some kids being took back to roberts elementary parents will have to pick them up These drivers are getting frustrated and I do not blame them. but they are doing the best they can Take your ID they will radio the bus barn and make sure you are who you are on the er contact list

I do not have kids in school, but listening to the scanner at all of these bus drivers trying their best to get these kids home safe, and the issues that all of these stuck buses are causing the police department. really ticks me off. why o why did the BOE not cancel school for today, they knew this weather was coming. why take a chance like they have. a lot of these traffic issues are of stuck buses. parents if you see your childs bus, and want to get the child off the bus, be sure to have your ID this is also an issue
