GEMA has admitted the office was closed for 12 hours when it should have been open and starting a plan. did not contact the necessary people. the Gov will look in to the mistakes made and get outside help if he needs to.

I have to disagree with the bolded statement: Another thing if all these folks that knew it was coming early had stayed at home, they would not have been on the roads. The kids might have gotten home then. It would not have made a difference if the roads were empty, the fact is the buses could not handle the snow/ice. and actually people being on the road was a good thing, a lot of good people helped those buses as much as possible.

Thanks hopefully they will not have to make the days up but if they do then so be it, better to be safe then sorry.
