There will be a statewide tornado drill at 9 AM this morning. Cobb County warning sirens will be sounded Not sure what paulding will be doing.. but if you are in cobb and hear the sirens this is why

Please keep the Pete Guy Paving family in your prayers. Pete Guy Sr. Went on to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1st. He will be greatly missed. The funeral for Mr. Pete Guy will be Tuesday February 4th from 6pm to 9pm. Wednesday February 5, From 9am til 9pm and then Thursday, February is the Funeral service at 1. It is being held at Winkenhofer Funeral home off of 41 /Cobb parkway. — at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.

I read that Pete passed away on saturday... he was a good man. prayers for his family...

we use Thompson propane, last week their gas was 3.53 a gallon, and only delivering 75 gallons. the lady told me that the main place were the gas comes from was shut down, because of the weather. and they could not get there to get any, so that was why they were limited to 75 gallons. they wanted to make sure everyone was getting some gas to help through the cold week. I do not like Hertiage... never have...

I highly doubt they will take spring break, they may add a few hours here and there on to each day, or take the half days away and let those be the make up days. If they will send the wavier in the days may not have to be made up at all, since this was a state of ER. Taking the half days and making them a whole day makes more sense, since the kids are already there, that would save on fuel ect... the letter did say if required, so they may be trying for the wavier, which that is what the letter sounds like to me.
