  1. If I am in a hurry, I'd decline. If not, probably let them search.
  2. We go each year. It's not bad.
  3. I have WI and pay by the year. I have never gotten a bill from them during the year I purchased. This year we did the year contract again, but with two trash cans and it was the same single yearly payment with nothing else. They have always picked up trash and never complained about what I put in it. I usually prefer a local company, but after getting burned twice I will be sticking with WI unless their service changes.
  4. It used to happen a good bit back in the early days. You had a decent size group of people that showed up often. Heck, there was even a paulding.com pick nick...
  5. I have played the bad guy for K9's before and that is someplace I would not want to be without a sleeve or suit on...
  6. I am sure there is more I wouldn't like, but I give him credit for haveing to the courage to say the things he did. I wish more would be blunt. Even if I didn't like what they were saying... Props to Philadelphia mayor Nutter Read it all here. Opps.. Probably should be moved to the political section...
  7. If my family is threatened I will not wait. My life and those of my family are more important than anyone threatening them.
  8. Well the next best thing to owning a gun is having friends that do. Find out who they are and put them on your emergency list! It is already here. Just not to the degree of London... yet... Link
  9. Not trying to be rude, but neither of those are much of a defense against an armed criminal.
  10. There is no reason what is happening in London can't make its way here. With us being close to Atlanta and many of use working in it the chances of being involved grows. Link Here If you're not against fire arms, no would be a good time to buy if you don't have one since prices have come down a bit. They'll go through the roof if the stuff does hit the fan. Ammo will be hard to come by then as well. Ultimately you are responsible for protecting yourself and your family.
  11. If you shop around you can find a nice quality brand .38 special for around $300. You're going to pay $200+ for the same quality pump shotgun. I'm trying to talk myslef out of buying a S&W .38 snub right now for $325. I don't need another .38 but I like S&W and the price is decent...
  12. I disagree. Anyone growing up poor, be it immigrant or citizen, has the dream of not worrying about the next meal, new cloths, heat in wither, and above all else dignity. We've gotten away from believing there are huge numbers of these people within our borders. Anyone growing up "rich", be it immigrant or citizen, has the dream of continuing or bettering their lifestyle. You may think they don't have the dream, but how many of them do you honestly think want to be homeless or less off than they were growing up? The fact is the American Dream is still possible. The problem is tho
  13. Funny... I am actually trying to talk myself out of buying one of those now. I hoping it selling before I jump...
  14. Buy a couple.. For the yard, get a 12 or 20 guage. Find a nice "known name" used one for sale. I like Remington and Mossberg. Either will do the job for anything you come across. You could put a couple shot shells in first and the follow with some slugs if you wanted extra fire power. The 20 will be easier to handle and you're not going to lose anything the way you'll be using it. This could work for the house, but will be much harder to use when going through doors, hallways and moving around corners. For the house find you a nice revolver. They simply work when you need them and anythi
  15. Maybe it is me, but those two statements do not complement each other....
  16. Dow’s losing streak unmatched since 1978 I have said for a couple years now the happiest person to have Obama in office is Carter. When considering one of the worst presidents his name won't pop up first any longer...
  17. Wow... That was an eye opener...
  18. Several years ago, but while I was leaving the service this was brought up as an option. There were more than a few job offerings and the money (compared to the service) was very good. I talked to a few people who had done it and the only thing they told me to becareful of were the local customs and laws. Some places have put together small towns where the workers lived that included everything you were supposed to need. It was secured for your protection and you left at your own risk... When it came down to it, more risk brought more money. Some outsource compaines are hiring americ
  19. The above information will always fall on deaf ears by those on the left. It also doesn't sink in that income taxes don't affect the rich like they do those working for it. The "rich" have already made their money and don't pay income taxes on it. It is sad common cents miss so many...
  20. A flat sales tax would do everything you mentioned above, simplify the tax system, and remove the majority of class war tactics politician’s use. A surtax leaves all of the issues with our current tax plan in place, fixes nothing, and adds more money to our failing political/budgeting system... When half of Americans pay no federal income tax and we’re forking out over $900,000,000,000 a year on food stamps, Medicaid, rental assistance and unemployment you think our way out of this is more taxes on those already paying for it all. The only way out of this AND keep what makes America grea
  21. I'm starting my studies for the CCIE Voice and wouldn't mind finding a local study partner. I figured I'd try here before hitting the global forums. I have access to all software needed for this and any future versions as well as a nearly complete lab in my house. I have a frame relay and PSTN switch configured with both T1 and E1 circuits. I'm using 2800 series routers and have a 3750 capable switch (NM) for QOS. I have an ASA for remote access if needed. I have several 7940/60, 7961, and 7970 phones. Basically, I am missing one router to mirror the lab... My goal is to attempt the lab a
  22. We have felt it with the business, but have been fortunate with my personal job. What I am seeing is a good job market for skilled and experienced people in my field, but very few opportunities for those trying to enter or regain employment. I feel sorry for those who weren't able to keep their skills current and those just entering the work force. They are feeling it the worst.
  23. I have a something I'd really like to build out of them but not sure its completely doable at this point. They have gotten so cheap that I'm thinking I should just buy one and play with it. I was hoping someone local had some knowledge about them.
  24. Anyone have experience programming small ARM computers? I'm thinking of playing with them with a few ideas I have but a complete newbie!
