Smart roads go solar and solves problems by thinking big!

You can tell its election time with the vitriol coming from your fingers… From this little I have pieced together so far, I’m thinking you may be eating one of your own. -
Then why did a judge have to overturn a popular vote of one of the most liberal states in the nation preventing gay marriage? One day you'd benefit from stepping out of the small box you live in. Before you pat yourself on the back too much, you should realize you’re a light weight compared to many pcommers who came before your time.

You're wrong. I have many issues with the "church" in general and practice no set religion. I'm not an atheist, but more so in what I'd call a "limbo". Homosexuality is a non-issue for me. This is a classic tactic to dismiss a differing point of view and I find it ridiculous. “You’re a (fill in the blank) so you’re point of view is discredited”. That is a sign of weakness in either communicating you’re message or have the capability of doing so. Whether you think, and yes I meant think, homosexuality is controllable or not doesn’t matter when it comes to the argument for equal rights
-
Then what’s the point? If you don't care why are you here arguing? You're pissed I voice an opinion that was different than yours while claiming to be some kind of champion for the freedom to choose.
-
It would. But again that truth is up to interpretation. Trying to convince someone who believes homosexuality is a truth in nature instead of a sin will be a futile battle. I’m looking at this from a logical point of view where many view it as emotional. There will be no common ground found between those involved emotionally.

If you follow along you'd see I'm not in the majority. But that doesn't fit with your desire to impose your beliefs on me...

A few doing it doesn't make it normal. As the population grows the abnormality grows. Basic math. normal: conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural. Homosexuality does not fit with the definition of normal. abnormal: not normal, average, typical, or usual; deviating from a standard: Homosexuality does fit with the definition of abnormal. You are fighting a losing battle and making yourself look foolish. You’ve fallen in right where your leftist leaders want you… Don’t worry. You can always call me more names to make yourself fe

You'd fit in better in Iran than I would. You're my way or the highway would be a perfect shoe in there. Too bad you'd likely be stoned to death before long though. I'm sure you'd be OK with that though as dictating views and beliefs, as long as they are viewed as correct by the enforcer, is justifiable. You on the left are so entertaining with your hypocritical ways. If it were not so sad and concerning I could have a good laugh at your behavior. Practice what you preach… If you want acceptance you have to be willing to accept. It’s a two way street. Simply because you think you’re r

We all have our idea what normal "is". But when looking at it from a scientific point of view you have to look at things as a whole. Saying homosexuality is normal for large-brained apes isn't a true statement. Homosexuals would never pass on their genes if the idea is followed strictly. If this was truly about equal rights the battle would be different. This is more about trying to force the general populous to accept a belief they don't agree with. That is where I have an issue. You want to be gay? Sure. You were born gay? Ok. You want to have same sex relationships? Fine by me
-
Calling me a bigot doesn't help you make a silly argument any better. Stepping up and accepting the fact you're more concerned about pushing your agenda than gaining equal rights would give you a bit more validity. Call me what you will. I don't care. Simple fact is you're trying to get the courts to force your belief on the unaccepting majority of the nation. If this were a Christian using the courts to make you pay a 10% tithe every Sunday, you’d be flipping your lid.

Normal to a very small segment of a species does not make it normal for the entire species. It is an abnormality. Explain the purpose of homosexuality? Why would it exist in nature? From an evolution point of view it’s a literal dead end. People who tattoo their face or poke it full of holes probably think that is normal….

You're a tool and a prime example of why gay "marriage" is failing to be accepted by the general population. A public vote failing in the state of California should tell you something. But alas... I just gave an easy solution to equal rights across the board and you called me a bigot. Everyone would have the same process when it can to legal rights when viewed by the state. Your gay couple could still get married; they’d just need to find a church that would perform it instead of the state. That’s not good enough for you because it’s not just about equal rights. It’s about forcing y

Anything that has anything to do with nuclear will be immediately shot down by the left. It should have at least one of the following attributes to be considered a viable energy source: 1. Requires huge sums of government funding (Usually a prerequisite for all) 2. Destroys vast amounts of land and/or wildlife 3. Have a manufacturing process that creates highly toxic materials 4. Not be self-sustaining 5. Not be related to the oil, gas, or nuclear industries. -
Because many most feel differently. If this was truly about equal rights, it could be addressed very easily by creating a civil union that grants the same legal status as marriage. Then no "marriage" is needed to make everyone "equal". That is where I'm lost on the argument of "equality". It doesn’t need to be called the same thing for it to be equal under the law. Drop the push for it to be called marriage. Personally, I think people should get married in the church and legally be bound by a civil union by the state in separate processes. It pretty much happens that way now anyway.

Hydro destroys huge amounts of natural landscape and much of the resident wildlife. Wind energy is failing to be anywhere near productive. Currently, most can't create enough energy over their lifespan to match what it takes to manufacture, build and maintain them. But hey... They're "green" and power companies can charge higher rates for the electricity they create. Just ignore the low rumbling, crappy views and dead birds scatter about. -
They should use it more often.

Try housecall. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ It is free and it has cleaned things others haven't. Only problem is you need internet access to use it.

When did we lose the idea of being responsible for where we put our feet? Did Kroger make the crushed fruit invisible or place it under his foot right before he stepped down? Did they blind fold him and lead him across the slippery area? If I visited your house and slipped on a pile of dog dodo, would I be entitled to millions in compensation? The article doesn’t say how long it was before Kroger was notified of the lawsuit. Was it a day, a month, six months? How many of you have any idea how much storage (hard drive space) it takes to save decent quality video feeds? How many camera

You're entertaining…. I almost posted that I hadn't heard from any Marine, but I updated it because I was certain you'd find a fault in my not including your post. It seems you cannot be pleased... Responding to this topic today was the first time I have visited it since my post before. I don't find it necessary to continually check up on topics here. It isn't one of my priorities…
-
Something posted on my facebook by a Marine made me think of this topic... Pee on a Crucifix, you're an "Artist" Pee on The American Flag, you're a "Constitutionalist" Pee on a Police Car, you're a "Freedom Lovin' 99 per center" Pee on a Taliban piece of crap that just tried to kill you and your fellow Marines, you're a "Villain" WTH?!?!?!?!?! Other than justgettingby's husband, I have not read or heard from a single Marine saying anything supportive of the persecution of these Marines. It has all been comparable to the above.
-
You mean like this??? You imposed that all Marines feel tarnished because of this and I disagreed. Even if your husband does share those feelings you are making a huge and incorrect step assuming all others do. No. You didn’t. If you’d and a couple others would take a minute to comprehend what is written you might. Simply put… If you support aboortzion but call peeing on the dead body of someone who was trying to kill our service members an atrocity, your moral compass might be a bit off. I am not sure how I could simplify it any more. Oh, I got out the beginning of

Take a minute and read before replying... I said I would be really surprised. I did not say I knew how he would feel or that I knew him any better. I voiced my opinion. As for the rest of your post... I find it a pathetic attempt at making a silly argument. You are trying to link being unconcerned as condoning or supporting. You’re not doing it and your attempts get more comical each time. I find it highly ironic you want to give the rest of us a morality lesson. And yes… Really!
-
BS. I served in the Marines and feel none of the above. I'd truly be very surprised if your husband felt that way. No other Marine I am still in contact with feels any of the above... Marines are storied and trained killers; none more so than infantry. They’re young, full of energy and do stupid things. I don’t condone what they did but don’t care either. Had they cut the penis and nuts off of the dead sticking it in their mouths then hanged them from a bridge, I’d feel stronger. What they did was stupid. Nothing more… They’ll be punished and careers will end. This is nothing

How to password protect stuff on an external hard drive?
converse replied to greg30127's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm not sure you'll find a decent way to do that without encrypting it. Here is a free program that will allow you to create an encrypted folder on a drive instead of doing the entire thing. http://www.truecrypt.org/ -
Yep. You'd think people would have figured this kind of thing out by now...
