  1. A number of years ago, there was the WWJD movement. I still try to think like that. Even people that I don't particularly like are still God's children and may be saved. If I need to pray for these people, I pray as Jesus did in the garden, "Father, not my will, but Thy Will be done."
  2. Absolutely Not! But then he is almost 35!
  3. I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It caught it and cleaned it off so I have not had any problems.
  4. I got the plaque: cutest kitty overall (Chip). Didn't get the goody bag or whatever else there was. In week one, my avatar was most photogenic cat(Bandit) and Belle won as cutest cat.
  5. Pubby, I was hit between 7 and 7:30 this morning. I sent you a message through FB because I was afraid to log on again. My security caught it and later I did a full scan and cleaning. My son works in Business security and when he tried to visit p.com with firefox and Chrome, they threw up alerts. IE lets everything through!
  6. I was supposed to pick up a prize (or two) from the pet grooming place but they said they didn't have them. They were to call me when you brought them by but I never heard from them. I did get the plaque, though.
  7. I have Microsoft Security Essentials. Here's what it caught this morning: Exploit:Win32/CVE-2010 - 1885 - A Alert level: Severe 5/4/2010 7:47 AM
  8. It's the alcohol in the hairspray that works. Put some white paper towels under the spot and pour rubbing alcohol on it. Then blot with a rag or more towels. Repeat until the spot is gone and wash in cold water.
  9. We had field peas with chopped onion and chow-chow, mustard greens and hoe cakes. My Mom was in heaven. We have something light for dinner, fruit and yogurt or cereal.
  10. Karen, I lost my cat, Sugar, about 10 days ago. I know how much your babies mean to you and tonight I truly feel your pain. I know how hard it is to come home after they are gone, too. The pain will lessen, but you will still see him in all of his favorite places for a long time. Prayers for your aching heart going up.
  11. Does anyone know of a salon that is experienced at doing pedis for diabetics? I have to be careful with my feet.
  12. This is one of my saved sites and they are having sales now: http://www.homeroomdirect.com/
  13. Friends just got back and had a ball! Try Captain's Quarters...
  14. If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Luke 9:25-27
  15. I taught HS and the asvab was given to juniors every year. As far as I know, there is no studying to be done. It simply asks thems questions about interests and from their answers they are given a list of careers that they might be suited for. It is a vocational aptitude test given by the army. There are some resources and practice tests on the web, though. Just google ASVAB.

  17. rutabagas--That's it, except that I don't like the taste of any alcohol.
  18. My 'mater is watching me from the kitchen island wondering what I'm going to do with it!
  19. A friend of mine worked for Grant at SC and he is a really nice guy!
  20. Call Fox5. They are always happy to help the animals even if the Marshal isn't. Who is the marshal? We need to let (her?) know that we are not pleased. Oh, and the HS needs to step up and start a fostering program like Cherokee. I'll help foster and I know there are others who will, too.
