  3. I have been trying to think of an ice cream bar that we would eat when I was in middle school mid 60's (The old Dallas High School) I think it had banana flavored ice cream and was chocolate covered I think it was by Good Humor called a Bonanza Bar? I can't remember if the school sold them or the ice cream truck came around. I am craving one now but can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone remember?

  8. This is Dallasbrowneyes hubby here. As a retired land surveyor I can tell you from experience that when yellow jackets build a nest in the ground they will make two doors. When you go to plug up one door be sure you know where the other door is or they will get you from behind. Been there and felt the results.
  9. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way

  17. I loved watching the Royal wedding and I have to admit I also got a little misty eyed. I have always had a facination with the royals as long as I can remember. I was in London and Cornwall, England visiting with family when Willian was born and am now excited to see him get married
  18. I did not make it up early to watch the wedding live but am watching it on TLC now. Such a regal ceremony and Kate was stunning, her hair, her dress everything was perfect. My mind keeps going back to Princess Diana and my wonderful trip to England when Prince William was born. We were watching on London TV with our British side of the family when everyone got the first look at Prince Willam when he was born. What a moment to see him marry now. I have to admit I was very misty eyed watching the wedding.
  19. I Thank God we are safe here and feeling very lucky that the storms missed us. Prayers for all the families that were affected by these horrible tornadoes and storms with the devastation they caused...

  23. I will probably watch Kate and William's wedding but it will come on too early for me. Will probably tape it. Our family has roots in England and Scotland so it really facinates me... I was actually in England visiting with family when William was born. Now I want to see him get married. When Diana and Charles got married a lot of our family went over to one of my sunt's house to watch the wedding together. I remember it so well, even tho it was 30 years ago. A part of history in the making
