The Berlin Wall: Does Anyone Remember?
jan tripcony replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is Dallasbronweyes hubby here: Someplace around here I have a picture of dallasbrowneyes and myself running through the Berlin Wall. The trick is to go to Fulton, Missouri to visit two portions of the wall that were brought here. It is just off of Interstate 70 if you are ever driving through Misssouri. One side is painted with graffiti and the other is bare because the East Germans were not allowed near the wall. -
I was off today so I actually cooked. Fried eggplant, pasta, english peas and peaches. and it was actually pretty good.

Laurie, It is somewhat of a drive but have you ever been to the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant at the Peachtree Dekalb Airport. I have not been there in awhile but several years ago I used to go all the time. We just can't seem to get over in that area lately.. I prefer Rodneys. They will cook it just the way you like it. But then Hubby and I like our steak medium well and they get it right everytime. -
I am not sure if anyone remembers(It was a long time ago early 1960's) The Pink Pig at Downtown Rich's would take you outside over where you could look down see some real live white Deer. They were absolutely beautiful! I know, Downtown Atlanta but it really is true.. I don't remember how long they had them there but I just remember I had never seen anything like it ever before.
