Growing up santas gifts were never wrapped so I continued that with my son (he's 6). This year I plan to wrap his Santa gifts with santa paper thanks to the good ideas I've found on pcom. Lol

Yummy! Thanks, I will definately try that. I use cream of chicken or mushroom soup but yours sounds much better! The cream soup makes it too "heavy". Thanks again.

Yes they shut down sections of the streets. The side streets aren't clearly marked. That is how my bf accidentially ended up on a street full of zombies. He sent me a lot of cool pictures while it was being filmed. Its cool to recognize the sets on TV.

6 year old wants a DS, baseball set, football, golf set, tennis set.Can you tell he loves sports? He also said Iron man pants & a batman coat. Lol 11 year old wants a pogo stick, books, clothes, itunes card & games for her DSI. 15 year old wants a tv, ps3 games & everything Hollister sells.

I wish they'd say what actually happened to have all this going on. When he left the hospital & met up with the first guy I would have DEMANDED he tell me. He just kind of accepted it. I'd have had a LOT of questions for him.

We are hooked too. It was filmed right outside my BFs building (some scenes were on the roof of the bldg). He didn't know anything about it when they first started filming. He works in that bldg alone on saturdays. Early one saturday morning he pulled up at work, the main street was closed but he didn't know because he used a side street. He turned on the street & saw a burned police car, an overturned bus and Zombies were walking down the street. He freaked out!! Lol. I still give him a hard time about it. Its so neat to watch knowing that area so well.

Ryans used to have these deep fried breaded chicken wings on their buffet that were to die for! Anyone remember those? Gosh, that was prob 20 years ago, waaay before we had any restaurants in Dallas. My parents would drive my brother & I to Douglasville EVERY Friday and we would gorge ourselves on those things. Also miss fries from Jacks that was at the plaza.

Yum! I miss those too! They had a commercial with a catchy song advertising them that would ALWAYS get stuck in my head. Thankfully I can't remember it now.

I forgot....Kroger sells already prepared subs called "monsters". They have a 1 1/2 lbs. of meat and are delicious. I can feed my family of 5 with 2 of them and still have leftovers. They have ham, turkey and roast beef.

I LOVE Blimpies subs! I usually get the ham & swiss. I don't know what makes their subs so much better than everyone else but they are so good!

I'm finished with the 6 year old, about 1/2 way finished with the older 2. SS wants a plazma tv so other than that I only have a few smaller gifts to buy for him. I'm still at a loss for the 11 year old SD. So far I bought most of her wish list but she didn't put much on it. We try to spend the same amount of $ on all three kids. Any suggestions would be nice. Hint hint.

I add sliced smoked sausage to my chili. It is delicious! I also like to serve it over white rice. Sooo good!!!
