Sometimes I wonder if the news anchors ever watch themselves and listen to the things they say. After watching the news around the clock during the past few days I have laughed so hard. One anchor actually asked a man stranded at the airport "Why are you still here? What happened?". He looked at her and said "Uh, my flight was delayed because of the snow.". I've heard everything but I think my favorite was "The roads will remain covered with ice, until it melts". Seriously??? What funny or ridiculos things have you heard?

Do you HAVE to have wi-fi to download books onto the kindle? I bought my stepdaughter one for Xmas but she swears up & down she can't use it without wi-fi.

A friend of mine went ziplining a few weeks ago and said she had the BEST time. I think her & her boyfriend would enjoy that. It would be a memorable experience. I'd suggest that or maybe taking her, her boyfriend or another friend to eat Japanese. ???

I miss the original Catfish Den. They had the BEST prime rib! Fried chicken was also delicious. When I was little my Mom & I would go pick up togo orders every Friday and they were always packed. It just hasn't been the same since.

DSD had strep last week and her fever continued to get higher after she began antibiotics due to an ear infection. She was pitiful for about 4 days. DSS has broncitis. He hasn't ran a fever. DS had a 24 hour stomach bug & a respiratory infection--no fever. As for me & Dad, flu! Low grade fevers, coughing, sore bodies, sore throat and just all out feeling like poop! I hope you all feel better soon. This stuff is horrible.

Well it's that time of the year again. Instead of Christmas carols & holiday cheer our house is full of tissues, medication and germs. One child has strep & an ear infection, another has bronchitis, the youngest has a stomach bug & respiratory infection. As for me and Dad I think we have combinations of everything. He's at urgent care now. Ugh!! Tis the season!! What germs are floating around your house?

I too wish to be cremated for a few reasons. I come from a small family & my Mother died when I was 17. Eight years later my brother was murdered. I'm the only person that has ever put flowers on their graves. At times when I was struggling financially I would feel so guilty that their flowers needed to be changed. I don't want any of my loved ones to feel that stress about me. I don't feel any closer to my deceased loved ones being at their graves. I carry them in my heart and I have special places we shared memories together that mean so much more than their graves. The 2nd reason is of

Ok so mine isn't tiny, pretty big actually. I was surprised with an engagement ring last night. Haven't quit smiling yet. :) I guess my "tiny" moment would be when today my 6 year old told me "Mama you'll have to wrap your head with that white stuff so noone can see your face when you get married".
