I agree. I havent spent one dollar in ANY mall in YEARS. It doesnt take a mathematician to realize that when you buy from a mall store, you are paying TOP dollar for their slice of real estate. I can and DO get it cheaper elsewhere and avoid the hassle altogether. Mall=Hell.

Black, white or indifferent...I couldnt care LESS about the color of their skin. YOU brought racism into this. Dville is 'hood...Da hood...whatever. Nice way to try to get a rise out of us. Race is a non issue to me. Obviously, it is to you. Go read a book, volunteer somewhere and open your mind for the good of the rest of us, huh.

My advice is to drive thru potential neighborhoods at different times of the day. You can ask law enforcement for crime rates and reports and it is your right to do so. They will not be shocked by your request. It is a perfectly legitimate request. You want to make sure your family is in a safe area? Since when is THAT a crime or even rude? It's not! You can ask them anything you want to and they will give you the answer. I would do this even if I moved 2 miles away because sometimes crime ridden areas are more white collar and it can be very deceiving.

Oh really? Come on. You have no idea about me, my opinions and the racial mix of my family. YOU are implying race here, not me. Are you saying that b/c I mentioned gangs, they must be black? Because, I sure didnt. That is such a weak and lousy argument, especially to a perfect stranger.

If you're in the mood for some good 'ol southern cookin' with a soul food flare....Taste of Dixie. It's great and the service is fantastic. Happy Birthday! -
Yes. When I first got into real estate a few years ago, I was always attracted to property there b/c of the low prices as compared to other metro areas. Then, the more I learned and did all sorts of reports on the area, I quickly saw why it's cheaper to live there. Gang violence stats there are staggering. That was my biggest surprise. Bad thing is, I cannot say that as an agent(well, it's tricky, anyway) b/c of fair housing laws but I do point interested buyers to call the local Police and Sheriff's Dept to get stats.

I wouldnt doubt it at all. D-ville is 'da hood, as far as I'm concerned.

I second that! Atlantis is an unbelievable place. You could just stay there the whole time and have a blast with plenty to do. Have a GREAT time and congratulations!

My Car Looks Like It Did the Day I bought It

Marc does a great job. He detailed my Moms car which was about 9 yrs old at the time. It looked unbelievable and she LOVED it. Very reasonable pricing too. I want to get both of mine done asap...just waitin on a little more cash flow as I've had a VERY expensive past 6 months :cray: -
Oh no! I've loved him and Neal for years. Got to meet them a couple times at book signings and they were both completely down to earth, friendly and seemed to appreciate their listeners. I know he married later in life and now has young children...I hate this for them so much. Agreed. I always thought it was great for Neal to let Royal speak his mind, even though it usually conflicted with his opinions. Neal even pushed for Royals own show and supported it every chance he got.

This would mean Im a Sagittarius which fits me a LOT better than Capricorn. Pretty interesting. My faith is very opposed to anything to do with astrology so I dont know very much about it. But, it is very interesting that they have now formulated the changing of the Earths axis which changes LOTS of things, actually. This will be my new read, devour and read some more topic.

That Johnboy is almost angelic. How thoughtful and generous of him. I'm really glad for you and Marc, Deewee...I know this last couple years has been rough on all of us.

I use liquid lysol, hot water and wipe them inside and out. The washing machine would be too hard on them especially as often as I sanitize them, IMO.

The food and the service were excellent. I'm off today and if the roads from kennesaw to your side of dallas are good, Ill be there for lunch. Cant wait and thanks again. lauralee

I AGREE! I have a 17 yr old son who is a great kid. Does good in school, his teachers have always told me how respectful he is of them and of others, he even teaches private guitar lessons to young kids but.........I can totally see him asking the same question of he were new to the job. They are working and learning about life and the way things work. I always make eye contact with the bagger and say "thank you" as well as to the cashier. I dont rebag in front of them as long as they are trying and being courteous(I cant even remember at time when they were not). -
I use them and LOVE them! Just got 4 of the BIG Publix ones...$1 each. I do it to be green and also because you can carry more. I REALLY limit the amount of trash in my house that cannot be recycled. If I dont have my bags or just running in for a couple things, I ALWAYS ask for a paper bag. They are so useful at home, too. I even give my extras to my neighbor to line her daughters bunny cage with. I also use them for: * trash can liners(not in the kitchen though). I cut the first few inches off the top and they fit and work great. * for painting projects, to cover the floor or whateve

I live in Kennesaw and agree with PSD. You will be fine. My boyfriend left my house off Jiles and hwy 41 yesterday and drove all the way to Nebo rd with no problem. He said he just drove slowly and paid attention especially to shaded areas where there was still some ice but it did not cover the road...just on the edges. And, hey...when you get there, go have a celebratory lunch at Elevation Chophouse. It's inside entrance B, on the Chastain Rd side of McCollum. Ive worked there part time for 2 yrs. Its a GREAT place. Godspeed!

Oh my! Well I'm glad I'm way over here in kennesaw and all your partying wont keep me awake .
