It's highly unlikely you will get it dismissed. You have no grounds for dismissal. You drove a vehicle with expired tags. It doesn't matter who owns the vehicle or what payments they have or haven't made on the vehicle. The driver of a vehicle is solely responsible for that vehicle while he/she is operating it. You drove the vehicle knowing that it had an expired tag. The fault lies with you.

What a knucklehead. Who carries a .45 with only 4 rounds in it? Ya know, I just don't see how you can 'forget' you have a gun in your possession, whether it be on you, in your coat, or your carry on luggage. I'm a believer in the 2nd Amendment, a firearms instructor, and a lifetime member of the NRA... and it's not often I say things against gun owners, but this guy deserves to be whipped. This is EXACTLY the type of fuel the anti-gun crowd looks at when trying to make cases for gun control.

That is what gets people in trouble, right there... He stopped, but not completely.. Well then, he didn't stop. Stop means just that... NOT MOVING... It doesn't mean slow down to and roll through.

100 Watt Incandescent Bulb Phase Out About to Begin
Nitro replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Nit-picking? Sorry, but I'm not the one who said I don't use any incandescent light bulbs (lied) and then turned right around and said that I use them MULTIPLE times. I don't believe I ever defined "incandescent light bulb" anywhere. Typical of you... can't keep your story straight so you twist around what others say... You're still wrong. 100 light bulbs are not being banned. Light bulbs from 40 watts to 100 watts have to meet a more stringent standard. The 100 watt bulb was the ONLY one affected in 2012. The 75 watt specs had to be in place by 2013 and the 40 & 60 -
100 Watt Incandescent Bulb Phase Out About to Begin

But so what? You specifically said you don't use incandescent. Has no bearing on what the electrical load on the grid is, whether or not it's a closed system or not, the fact is, you said you don't use them... but you do. Uh... well, no, actually, the heat is converted to light... not the other way around. And no, regardless of what you think, you cannot get the same light out put of a 100 watt incandescent as you do a CFL with less wattage. Once again, you are showing your lack of knowledge. CFL's produce a different light frequency than incandescent. That light freq -

100 Watt Incandescent Bulb Phase Out About to Begin

You can never give ALL of the facts, can you? There WAS a bad on incandescent light bulbs. It wasn't a consumer ban, it was a manufacturing ban. Up until the "on hold" it would have been ILLEGAL to manufacturer an incandescent light bulb. Just because it doesn't apply to the ownership and use by a consumer doesn't mean it wasn't a ban. So, every light in your house is CFL or LED? Every flashlight you own is LED? Every light in your car is LED? (I know it isn't... I've seen your car and know for a fact it's not all LED's). So, yes... you do, actually, have those -
There were about 35,000 N600's sold between '70 & '72 and about 15,000 of the Z600's sold. I'm quite familiar with Honda's and their history... No, Nova does not mean "doesn't go" and it's not Spanish. Nova is Latin and it means "New."

I wonder how the revolutionary war would have turned out if the colonists had used knives and crossbows against the British muskets?
-
I know what your point is... but for the correct facts, Honda starting importing in to the US in 1970 with the N600. The Civic followed in '73, the Accord in '76, and the Prelude in '78. But for the other facts on how many of the Fords and Chevys that are that old and still around, I guarantee there is VERY few of them that haven't been rebuilt 2 or 3 times... or they aren't driven enough to have any mileage on them to compare.

Hot Shots used to be one of the best around. Good prices on Guns and range time.. I think they sold out a few years back and the new management suck. I used to teach there and I liked the place... good, knowledgeable sales people and a fantastic armorer. Not any longer. Advance Bullets in a good place, just don't go if it's within a few days of it raining, because it gets muddy as all get out. Creekside in Taylorsville is a great place. It's just a guy with a huge farm that he has separate ranges built on. He has a pistol range, a rifle range, and a skeet/trap range out over

The little gas station on 61S next to the cemetary, about 1 1/2 miles down from ridge/61 intersection is BAD about this. I only stop there if I absolutely have too. They NEVER had paper in their machines. Why the hell have pay at the pump if I have to go inside? Cheap bastards.

I don't think anyone hates you for doing your job. It's a job that pays the bills and makes you a contributor, rather than a dead-beat. However, it doesn't matter if your company takes a person off their list and that person is on another list that your company purchases. The law says your company is to compare their purchased list to the Do Not Call list and remove anyone that is registered BEFORE hand. Just because the person is on a newly purchased list and you have removed them before doesn't relieve your company from the liability. Your company is still breaking the law, period.

Oh... Shadow's are very easy to swap the switch on... Loosen the clutch cable so that you have enough slack to disconnect it from the lever. Remove the pivot pin screw that holds the lever on. It's screwed in, but there is also a nut on the bottom. Disconnect the switch wires from the switch and push the switch out. You might find it easier to take the whole perch off the handle bars to do it, but it can be done while on the bars. Install is just the opposite. Put the switch in, reinstall the lever (be careful not to over tighten the or the lever will stick). Install a

Funny how nobody ever remembers who he played on Dragnet... he was just "Sgt. Friday's partner..." He played Det. Bill Gannon
-
What kind of bike is it? The thing the clutch lever is connected to is called the "perch." On most bikes, the switch is in the perch. To remove the switch, you may have to remove the perch from the handle bars. On some bikes, it's simply removing the pivot pin from the lever and taking the lever off. The switch will slide out the back side, generally. It's not too bad of a job... 30 minutes or so, max.

Not true. Opossums generally are resistant to rabies, but they are indeed capable of carrying the disease. Any mammal is capable of carrying the disease. When concerned about any mammal and rabies, if contact is made with one, a physician should always be consulted.

It really doesn't surprise me. Take "the rod" out so you can breathe and it might help you understand.
-
Uh... sorry, no rod in my ass... as much as you may get your jollies from thinking that. Ease up on what? I'm not allowed to state how I feel, but you are? I don't have to ease up on anything... I'm not worked up over anything. I don't get worked up having a discussion on the internet... you obviously are... maybe you should ease up. I asked some questions based off a statement YOU made. No hostility, just a couple of questions and trying to put some sort of logic behind the way you worded what you said. Obviously, it got you worked up a little. Well, here's a helpful

I'm curious as to exactly how YOU would answer this question....<?> Let's see... Brave. Definition of Brave: To undergo or face courageously. Can you handle each and every aspect of where we need police? Let's say an armed robbery over takes you on the street and you fail to act for fear of your life. Ok, I'd say, smart. After the fact, are you going to go after the guy? Are you going to hunt him down and bring him to justice? I'm guessing not. Do the police do this? Yes. Do you expect them too? Yes. Do they do it without fear? I don't think so. But the fac
-
Yep... and ya know what? It bothers the "good" cops just as much as it does you. The ones that are out there setting the good examples don't want their reputation tarnished by the cops that break the rules. Just like your job... Let's say you are an accountant. If a fellow accountant launders funds or cooks the books, it reflects on all accountants and it makes the ones who follow the rules angry. Police are no different. I don't think anybody thinks the police should be given a free pass. But, it's not right to crap on the whole police/sheriff's department for one or two bad

I haven't seen anyone get upset. I see people trying to inform others of facts when the others have views that are skewed irrationally or without merit. Are you going to tell me that you don't get irritated if someone tells you the job you do isn't up to par or you are crooked just because of the job you do, whether or not you are one of the bad apples in your profession? It's human nature to be proud of the job you do and the productivity you make. It's also human nature to defend yourself when people, many times with false facts, say you're the bottom of the barrel just because yo

No better, no worse? Exactly how many times does an accountant have someone pull a gun on him? How often do doctors have to enter a house where they don't know who or what is inside and with what weapons, ready to kill them? When is the last time a farmer pulled over a car full of drugs and risked getting shot? That's like saying being a Marine or a Navy Seal is "just a job..." Police are urban military and they are in life threatening dangers all the time. We should have utmost respect for the men and women who protect this country, externally and internally. Why is it
