Had a blast with my Goldens, just like we used to play in the snow in OH. Spent 4 hours shoveling the driveway, so I got my exercise in today.

My 3 Goldens love it! Doesn't take them long to remember how much they loved it in OH.

Wow. Every parent knew last night that there were 3 options: go to school at the regular time, have a delay or have no school at all. Last night was the time to make your plans. Get over yourselves and quit your b--complaining. Having lived in Ohio, I can tell you that people up there had the same attitudes, and delays and closings occurred frequently. Yes, decisions always seem to be made at a slower pace than the parents feel is reasonable. Yes, the parents have to make arrangements that they feel is last minute. That is the nature of the weather. Live with it, deal with it, and move on.

This has been going on for the last couple of weeks, with vehicles being broken into around 2-5AM. I don't think any homes have been hit, just vehicles at this point. Apparently, security cameras may have some footage that can be used by PCSD. They've also been hitting neighboring areas too. Just saw where some were caught for the Mill Pt. burglaries. Hope it takes care of our thefts too.

I made one of these a few years ago, using the silver cutters. I still hang it. I made mine bigger, layering several deep. I bought my cutters in a tub at Michael's for around $15. If you use the 40% off coupon, that's only $9. You could paint them, if you'd prefer a different color. Sorry, just saw that about spray painting. I kept mine silver, as it's on a rust wall.

Not that's it's anybody's business, but I do use the Dallas library, that takes me 20 minutes to drive to, because I do live up here in the North end, which apparently is equal to Hell in a lot of your eyes. And yes, that library does suck, no offense! I've paid for a Cobb membership since my family moved here 5 yrs ago, and use it several times weekly, and love it. So God help us in the northern end of the county! Rant over.....

Everything they make is homemade. Bone their chicken for salad and soup, shred the cheese to make the pimento cheese (the best!!), make all of the desserts. Cookies are good. Some of the cakes are a little dry, but other desserts are really good! It's worth the trip to try it. This is their 2nd location. Johnny's been on Paula's show several times. Nice lady, but stretched a bit thin when I worked for her.
