Sadly this little guy was already gone by the time he was brought into the house. This is the 3rd one that didn't make it. Two escaped in the house when he brought them inside. Lucky for them I was able to shoo them out safely

I live on a small lake and the pond critters are more visable in the back yard and around the pool. My Shih Tzu keeps bringing in chipmunks. They are so cute. I wish he would leave them alone I don't know how he is catching them. He only weighs 5 lbs. They are bigger than his little head

Sure! How many does he want....1 or 2 thousand to start sounds good.

Above ground pools are a great way to see if the whole pool thing is for you. I've had one for a while. The kids loved it. Now the kids are grown and it is just me. I have not opened my pool in 2 years. It has a fairly new pump and sand filter and a brand new never opened salt generator thingy (with several bags of salt). I just want this big money pit gone! I am not pool people. It's a lot of work and I don't like swimming alone. For now it serves as a frog breeding ground (see photo below). These tadpoles are living in the rain water that pooled on top of the cover. As soon as these little b

The Ghost Sentry of New Hope Church revealed!

You were drinking beer in the church parking lot? My Granny's ghost would have spanked your butt! -
I've been to many of the local pay to ride places. The turn off for me is the high number of riders. My favorite place is Prentice Cooper State Forest. It is beautiful and FREE! The only negative is the drive to Chattanooga. If you do decide to go be sure to check the website to make sure all roads and trails are open. Pack a cooler and lunch, spread a blanket on one of the huge rock cliffs overlooking the Tennessee River and make a day of it http://www.tn.gov/agriculture/forestry/stateforest07.shtml Here are some photos of a previous trip. We went about 2 weeks ago and it was gorgeo

I've always used Frontline Plus but it does not stop fleas from getting on the dog. The dogs environment must be treated for fleas as well...yard & home. I purchase my Frontline from an online source in Australia and it is much cheaper.

Top Trails in Anniston is good and only $5 per person. Durhamtown is good too but expensive. My favorite place is Prentice Cooper (Chattanooga) . Its free but parts of it are closed for Turkey nesting and hunting in April. Check the website for dates. Pretty rock cliffs overlooking the Tennessee River and miles and miles of trails.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost one of my babies this past week. My 6 year old baby girl Kyli ate poisionous mushrooms. It was just too much for her tiny 6lb body to handle. I am heart broken. Reading about the Rainbow Bridge gives me comfort.

When I was looking for the gun I wanted I went to the gun show. It was a great opportunity to talk to people with tons of knowledge as well as put my hands on the guns I was interested in. When I made a decision on the gun I wanted I did go to a few gun shops but their prices were a bit high. I went back to the gun show and purchased my revolver at a great price. Next gun show at the Cobb Civic Center is August 18-19.

A hammerless revolver was my choice as a first gun. Mine is a Ruger LCR .38. It's very light weight yet the trigger is not to hard to pull. Recoil can be a little uncomfortable until you get used to it. I have small hands and this gun is perfect and very easy to conceal carry in the back waistband of my jeans. Edited to add video; If there are any women that want to conceal carry but have a hard time finding a comfortable IWB holster, this is a great choice. This holster is custom made for your specific gun and is my favorite. Extremely comfortable! Crossbreed Supertuck IWB H

I have 6 "old" televisions that are useless. I am taking 3 of them to work with me today to put in the dumpster. I have basic cable with Comcast. My only digital tv had to be reprogrammed. I did have tv in every room. Now I have tv in one room (my bedroom). I'm not much of a tv watcher but when I do watch I like to have a choice other than sitting in my bed. All of this makes me very unhappy

And all because I just had to have one of those chocolate iced donuts from Wally World.....should have stayed home, stuck to my diet, and minded by own dang business

When I drove by East Paulding early last Sunday morning my heart sank when I saw what had been done to the school. My 2 oldest sons graduated from EPHS. I have always been proud to say that and still am. I am sad for all of the young people involved, the choices they made, and the consequences that they and their families must bear. They have my prayers in dealing with all that lies ahead.
-
I just drove past EPHS and it appears that someone spray painted all over the place....the building, the sign out front, and the fence. There were people there attempting to clean it up. I will never understand why people do things like this
-
THANK YOU! I sure wish there was one here in Paulding.

I carry a gun in my purse or on me everyday, everywhere I go. As a newly single woman that lives alone I feel much safer. My only problem is that I have to travel outside of Paulding County to go to a gun range. I go as often as I can but Canton is just too far to travel on a regular basis. I want to go more....every weekend if possible. Are there any gun ranges in Paulding County?

Although not local, Prentice Cooper is free and it is absolutely beautiful. Huge rock cliffs that overlook the Tennessee River and so many riding trails and roads. If you do decide to make the trip make sure you check the website first for road closures and hunting dates. http://www.tn.gov/agriculture/forestry/stateforest07.shtml
