Congratulations! Just getting an in person interview has been difficult for me. I'm going through a divorce and a job is the only thing holding us back from proceeding with that. Luckily things are very amicable. I don't want alimony, I just want to be able to support myself. Praying things change soon.

My son is a jr at NPHS. I looked on his facebook profile to see who this was. I am so sad for this young man's family. Prayers for all.

I frequented Miss Kitty's in the late 80's. Loved to go on the nights when Travis Tritt or Danny Shirley were playing. I almost died of embarrassment the night my mom won the "Best Chest in the West" contest

I've been looking for a job for about 4 months with no luck at all. I have been a stay at home mom for 17 years. Potential employers look at me as though my brains have petrified. Although I am still very actively looking for a job, I am also interested in taking some computer classes or getting a CDA. I do not have much money for training. Can anyone point me in the direction of low cost or free classes/training ? All I seem to have on my hands is time. I need to use that time wisely and not let another 4 months pass without being productive in some way. Thanks in advance

I have been out of the work force for 16 years. I have been looking for a job for months. No one is willing to give me a chance to prove that my brain is still functioning. I am not asking for alimony but can see where it might be necessary for some in my same situation.

This thread gives me hope that there is light at the end of the divorce tunnel. Can't wait to be "finally free"!

Thanks for your reply. I knew that it was 40 hours when he first started the Joshua's Law course but somehow through the trauma of getting that completed it must have just been easier to think about the 6 hours required night driving. He had to do the online course (99.00) because getting an instructor and attending classes was way out of my price range. Regarding the misinformation I was given by the lady on the phone, she never even mentioned the attendance form but did tell me the alcohol and drug awarness thing could not be more than 30 days old (HUH??? ) I asked her about this twice and s

I have only been looking for a job for a short period and am having very little luck. I could so do this lady's job and do it well. Guess I shouldn't judge based on one phone conversation....maybe she is just having a bad day.

Thanks for the replies...Just got off the phone and the link that stjohn99 posted is the log I need. The first lady I spoke with was bizarre. How do people like that keep or even obtain thier jobs.

I printed this out last week but the lady I talked with said this was not what she was referring to as the "driving log". I'm attempting to talk with someone else at DDS. Thanks anyway

My son has just completed the required Joshua's Law course. I called the DDS to see what else is required for him to take the road test. He is required to have 6 hours of parent supervised driving experience. The person I spoke with at the DMV said he would need a log of this driving. When I asked was there a specific form we are to use she couldn't tell me about one. The entire phone conversation was absolutely wierd. This woman sounded under the influence of something and the conversation was all over the place and I am totally confused about what we need as far as this log is concerned. Can

NYM / STL Game in 18th Inning and Counting.........
chynnapink replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was at a game July 4th 1985 between the Braves and I think the Mets. It went 19 innings. They did the 4th of July fireworks at 5am. I was 8 months pregnant and that game made me never want to attend another Braves game again. I didn't think it was ever going to end. -

Very sad news. My thoughts and prayers for this family. -
Thanks! Although this is not my first Jeep. I started with a 1978 Renegade CJ7, 3 speed V8....loved it!! Then a Golden Eagle edition, CJ5. I have driven a 96 Jeep Cherokee Sport for the past 11 years. It has almost 180,000 miles on it and has never had an issue. It still has a lot of drive in it and will be up for sale soon. Now that my children are grown it was time for a vehicle that was all about me....this new Wrangler is all about me. Can't wait to take the top off and enjoy the summer.

Love my Jeep and everything about it. Just got it Saturday...we are still on our honeymoon
