Isn't this a 14th Amendment equal protection issue; first established in Brown v Board of Education and reinforced Loving v Virginia, which allowed interracial couples to marry. Doesn't federal law supercede state law?

Davis isn't being asked to sign off on a religious marriage, just a civil one. No church is being forced to marry gay people and churches aren't being forced to marry gay people. She needs to do her job or be fired.

I happened to run into Thad yesterday at Windy Hill; my wife is there right now as well. Although I've never met the Morrison's or Thad, I noticed him from the picture posted on Pcom. I introduced myself and spent a few minutes talking to Thad and considering everything he has been through he looks great and he's sharp as a tack. I just wanted to offer my support and he seems like a good guy.

I don't know if they have the first 2 seasons of the Showtime series Master's of Sex, but that's a fantastic series as well.

Relationships both gay and straight take a lot of work and some luck to last. Finding that gay marriages are failing shouldn't be a big revelation and I don't take joy in seeing a person's relationship fail.
