Anyone know a heating and air company that will come out on the Friday night before Christmas? If not, I don't think we will freeze to death, however, I will need someone first thing tomorrow. I need someone dependable and that will have us warm again soon. My Dad is sick and I don't want him to get any worse. Thanks!

I am not the brightest bulb but this morning I really started thinking about the ramifications of Obamacare. They are too many to mention here but below is a serious concern. I have a loved one that works for the Dept. of Health and Human Services. This person is the kindest most compassionate person I know, however, she has seen the worst of the worst in her position. The Dept of H and H Services is one of the most inefficient, dysfunctional government entities and they will be administering and organizing Obamacare? That scares the H#%@ out of me!! A portable cassette/cd/am/fm radio in good condition. My Dad wants one for his room. He still loves listening to his old cassettes. Ive checked a few thrift stores with no luck Let me know.

This morning as my daughter drove to work she saw something that had been hit by a car. It was black but she said it was not a cow (she saw the cow a few weeks ago). She also said it was larger than a dog but smaller than a bear. She said there was alot of blood and that there was a guy out of his car taking pictures of it. Did anyone else see this? She said it was disturbing but she if very curious as to what it was. This is morbid I know and she is an animal lover. It really upset her. Thanks! I am not depressed and will continue to work my a@$ off until I'm at least eighty and try to enjoy my beautiful family in between workdays. Oh, and I will NEVER accept a government hand out unless there is a little left in my Social security acct. when I do retire.

I have made the best of a VERY bad situation for the past four years and I will continue to do so. I am a fighter, always have been and always will be. Obama will not bring me down but it is obvious to me that he is not good for America. I will continue to be an advocate for children, our education system, and my family as I always have.

I truly want some reasons to be hopeful. I do not hope or wish the Obama fails but so far he has not shown me anything. I agree with teacherman....many small businesses and jobs are doomed because of his healthcare plan.

Also, my daughter works for a state government office and she said you would not believe the entitlement mentality from the people that come in her office daily. They stroll in at 11 or 12 in the PJ's and want to know what the government (Obama) is going to do for them. Many make no attempt to find a job. This phenomena is only going to get worse......or does Obama have a plan for that?

Give me some reasons to be hopeful in Obama's next term. In his last term my husband lost three jobs (due to the economy) and we lost our home in the Countrywide/BOA debaucle. I am NOT better off than I was four years ago.....
