  1. i always thought of you as a hole "filler" not "maker".
  2. i'm a huge fan of acupuncture, acupressure, and magnetic therapy. now i'm off to google results for quitting smoking and weight loss. thanks for the homework!
  3. my ford explorer was recalled for a problem with the cruise control. something about the wiring catching fire. and it didn't have to be in use, or even have the key in the ignition for it to happen. the recall letter advised me to not park in my garage or too close to my house. spontaneous combustion. not my favorite ford trait.
  4. my justin lace up ropers are almost 20 years old. if i'm not wearing flip flops, they're the only thing i wear with jeans. i do have a couple pair of redhead work boots that i got from bass pro.
  5. thank ya ma'am, i believe i will! having a good hair day just seems to set a 'happy day' tone for me, all round!
  6. i started my day with a diet coke, cigarette, then a shower!
  7. and it would seem to me that pubby was placing affability as the reason for the landslide of votes. not competency. shame.
  8. Main Entry: af·fa·ble Pronunciation: \ˈa-fə-bəl\ Function: adjective Etymology: Middle English affabyl, from Anglo-French, from Latin affabilis, from affari to speak to, from ad- + fari to speak — more at ban Date: 15th century 1 : being pleasant and at ease in talking to others <an affable host> 2 : characterized by ease and friendliness <an affable manner> synonyms see gracious — af·fa·bil·i·ty \ˌa-fə-ˈbi-lə-tē\ noun — af·fa·bly \-blē\ adverb i'd agree that both are important. however, competency carries more weight than likability in my book.
  9. i'll take 'non-other society' for 100 please.
  10. nope. and neither would having sex with your mother in law. as far as your last comment, if he could do that, we'd be more than facebook friends.
  11. 1/2 a turkey bacon ranch sandwich from arby's.
  12. someone needs to look up the word 'incest'.
  13. primarily cobb. i live on the county line and work in cobb. much easier to shop at lunch or on the way home than to pass my house and go in to hiram. the two exceptions are walmart. i live right behind it. and home depot. we'll drive to hiram on saturdays to shop at home depot.
  14. we opted to have the plastic surround put in over the tub and tile. seemed more economical and easier at the time. now i regret it. the bathroom looks like it should be in a trailer. take before and after pics to share if you do the reglaze?
  15. you'd better rock this one. i'm holding you to the 'post gainfully employed' comment you threw out the other day. (i'll leave the hot glue gun at home though, 'k?) love and employment vibes sent to you!
  16. me. serious improvements have been made to my home and property. i feel the raise in assessment was justified. in my case.
  17. ugh. or make a new forum for them? "rantin' and ravin'" "bitchin' and gripin'" "pissin' and moanin'"
  18. i had to get a new computer, courtesy of the flood. got a deal on a cheap acer, but it does all the internet crap i need/want. my son has extra computer parts. want me to see if one of his video cards would work for you?
  19. my tv came with a cord that hooks to my laptop. i just find the movie i wanna watch, plug in and set the laptop on the lower shelf. not as fancy as being networked in, but it works.
  20. the cobb aquatic center is on macland rd. not too bad of a drive that i would put off a doctor recommended exercise program.
