  1. I understand how you feel, we had to help our cat of 16 years two weeks ago. She was the same way as your beloved friend. It was a hard decision. We too prolonged the decision but at the end we made peace that our Nala would be in a better place. It was beautiful on the way to the vet we saw she was at peace, she sent so many messages to us that we were making the right decision. I was at peace at the end. I cried and felt lost but it was so nice to look at her favorite spot and see she was not miserable anymore. I hope you can find the peace we found, may God Bless you and your family
  2. I met Paulding Mom, when I first started my treatment for Breast Cancer last March. She has been my life line, she has been my shadow during my treatment. We have corresponded everyday since March. On Thursday, she called me to tell me the following.. she has made this statement on Facebook. Please pray for her and her family. She is the sweeties person I know and she is so brave... Thank you...God Bless Cheri From FaceBook.... My breast cancer has come back and is in my brain, lymph nodes and bones. BUT there are some great new drugs out there that sound very hopeful. I had my firs
  3. My family and I went to see it on Friday. We really enjoyed the performance. The students did a wonderful job. Looking forward to seeing The Jungle Book soon.
  4. I am doing the same thing... The doctor told me to lose some weight due to a prior illness. What I have been doing is typing in a word like casserole and then adding calorie counting with it. I have found several recipes with calories and fat count. I made a chicken lasagna last week and it was great. It was 330 calories and it was a nice serving size. I have also started using sea salt instead of regular salt. I only use salt to cook with not to season. I have been drinking a lot of water and when I need something sweet, I drink low calorie hot chocolate and/or apple cider. It takes aw
  5. We lived at the park in the early 90's. I wish mine were young again. Have fun, it goes by so fast....
  6. We went too, it was very hot and there was alot of traffic. I thought with it being in the mountains there would be tons of shade. We spent more time in the traffic then we did there. I will stick with going to the barns and getting the apples there. I did come home with two pecks of differnt types of apples to freeze.
  7. I have had mine for nine years. I love it... I never have a problem cleaning mine. I use it daily.
  8. You got my prayers too. Nowens98. I went to the one in Marietta this past March for Breast Cancer. I hope you see Dr. Shroff. She is a very good doctor.
  9. I was suprised that the principal did not make a phone call. They call about everything else. My daughter is at EPMS and she handed me the note like this happens everyday. I think its time to have a reminder pep rally on how important it is to be aware of what is going on around the school and with their peers. We as americans are being reminded to watch out for our surroundings because of the terrorist attacks. A miracle happened yesterday, they dont happen all the time. Way to go, to all the staff involved and PCSO. The child who stepped out of the box and reported the case should be ri
  10. Thanks Anita for getting this message out. I am with Anita, dont let it be found to late. Just like Anita I was 40 and found it this past March through self examination. Thanks to God, it was found in an early stage (stage 2) where it was treatable. To many woman and men want to avoid this subject or tell themselves I am not old enought to get it or there is no history in my family. Well there was no history in my family either. Do it for yourselves and for your family. Thank you...
  11. I am sorry what do you mean any hints? I will be glad to answer any questions.
  12. I am currently going through Radiation for BC I have 7 left, I have done twenty six. I did not have to pay a co payment for each treatment (Insurance). Talk to the office manager and they will be more than happy to give you all the info you need. I did before the treatments began. I go to the one by Cobb Hospital. PM me if you further questions on the procedure, it can be over whelming.

  17. Did he attend preschool? How did he do with the setup there? Compare notes from the previous year to the present. I was a preschool teacher for years, some of these little guys have to get use to being on a schedule. Dont be discouraged its just the first week of school. He has not made the full adjustment yet. You might go have lunch with him and see how his day is going? Little guys love to show off mommy. Then you can make some corrective measures at home. He might need to see a friendly face so he wont feel so over whelmed and especially if he thinks he is going to be in trouble whe
  18. Thats why I have a cat... They dont eat your possessions. They just want to rule the world.
  19. Had a mild problem earlier this year, we have a stray cat that comes to visit nightly for food. I have always known about the Dawn soap, but a friend of mine told me the Raid for fleas is better made. We purchased two cans and around 6.00 each. It did the trick no more problems. We washed the cats first, locked them in a bathroom and then treated the house and left came home and vaccuumed and no more problems. Cats are very happy.
