  1. Just follow what I wrote and your system should find it.
  2. Typically, you would look at your ip address first. click start, then click Run then cmd (if using windows xp) or if Vista or Windows 7 just click the Windows button and then type cmd and hit enter next.... type ipconfig and hit enter..... look for your default gateway. copy that down on paper. now open internet explorer (on a machine that has internet access) and put the default gateway in as the address... for example... ip address: 192.168.1.5 subnet: 255.255.255.0 gateway: 192.168.1.1 type the gateway in on the address bar and hit enter most routers have a defau
  3. BIG HUGS and just know God is here to comfort you and your family.
  4. You need to go one time to Sun Valley before you make that big of a decision. I have bought a pass for the kids a few years back it was fun then, but last year the kids did not like going. I have my reasons but you need to Try before you buy...
  5. I want sushi.... Hope hubby does too
  6. Prayers are sent to you and yours
  7. I love all the job postings say we are hiring ON Call people. Please, get real.
  8. I saw a story about three weeks ago where Chemotherapy drugs were being rationed mostly due to short supply. It was on the ABC Evening News. This is very scary if you do not stay on a regiment you are more acceptable to relapse.
  9. At the end of the interview the man who was out of work got a job. He was given a hand up and someone took an interest in him. Without this interview he would still be unemployed. He was discouraged but after two years anyone would be. I bet when he first was out of work he was eager, but after no calls discouragement can set in. Selling yourself over the internet is so hard. When I was younger we went and applied for jobs and was able to sell ourselves in person. Today, we are relying on a resume. I spent fifteen years in one job and had excellent reviews. Everyone has talents, my talent
  10. That is awesome. I hope your business continues flourish. My husband was working for a company in New York on 9/11, his company folded and things changed for us to. It took several years but by the Grace of God he provided for us too. I miss the world before 9/11, people worked, the economy was good and faith was strong.
  11. How many of you are feeling we are going to enter another close depression. The speculators are raising the price of gas and food. Jobs are decreasing not increasing and when you go to the Paulding area on the Department of Labor site, there are very few jobs. Its sad for a county our size we have no jobs. Yes we have customer service jobs for 7.25 an hour, but there are no office positions listed in this area. When your county government freezes jobs, other employers freeze their positions too. I am so proud of the members on here starting their own businesses, that is what made Am
  12. I agree... I am making the most of it with my kids and husband. I am making meals for my friends, and trying to help anyone in need. I do miss working but God has other things for me to do right now. Its time to keep paying it forward. I will work again one day.
  13. I know this report has really just made me mad. I have been out of work for over six months and on top of not finding any jobs in my career field in this area, (Cobb, Paulding, Douglasville) I have to deal with this now. Forget about going into a new field of work, its not lack of education its experience everyone is demanding. I really am just disgusted, I am a person who worked over 12 hours a day and never complained. I was laid off for convenience to my former employer. When I was sick and taking Chemotherapy for breast cancer I worked everyday. I only went home early one day. I
  14. I am happy for him. He is such a good doctor.
  15. OK who do you think Tony is going to be investigating????? I do not like him investigating people behind Gibbs back. Did this before with Jenny and it did not come out good. Tony seem like he was up for the challenge with no objection. Did I say I hate cliff hangers!!!!!
  16. Me too, it seem like Off the Map was just getting good. I will miss it.
  17. I would hope one of the cable channels would pick up American's Most Wanted. TNT etc...
  18. As Brenda Woods stated perfectly the other day, all we have is freedom of speech. Why should one person hold back what they think, while others get to speak freely. I do not care if they receive a pay check or not from p.com. I do not always agree with some comments stated on p.com, but I disregard them and go about my business. Life is to short to let words dictate your life. LPPT, has just as much right as anyone on here to state her own side of a comment. It may be a joke or it may be factual. Is it any different from what others may do. That is my 2 cents.
  19. Ragsdale Inn in Dallas. We have held two receptions and one 50th anniversary there. They are awesome. Great Food and plenty of room. Not to expensive. I grew up Catholic and now I am a Baptist.
  20. You may have to think about the movie "Pay It Forward" You are a better person because you helped your friend. Not to many people in today's economy think beyond themselves anymore. There is no life deadline and your friend still may pay you back eventually. More likely not, but at the end you have taught us to remember if we loan money we need to do it as a gift, so no hurt feelings will be left behind. You are going to have to forgive your former friend, life is to short to dwell on things that you can not fix.
  21. You can still go to the driver's license place on Cobb County Service Parkway. I did just a few months ago for my son. It was free.
  22. We went yesterday for the first time, and I picked up some items too. They had breast cancer survivor shirts and I picked up two of them. I also got my hubby some shorts and a nice dress shirt. This was a real cool place.
  23. Sad to see the show go.. I guess I can go to bed early on Sunday nights now.
